Worked great to fix ABS light and parking break in 2008 VW passat2.0t. It reads codes and clears codes simple and easy to use.

Decent scanner for vw's
Overall, this unit is faitly easy to use. Reliability and durability are uncertain as the plasric casing has a cheap feel. I wouldn't want to drop it. Value depends on how well it will hold up.

Scanner as described, but USBb cable was not there in the package; not a responsive seller
Scanner works as described. However, there was no USB b cable in the box even though the users' manual mentioned that it was included. Not happy with the seller. I received the bubble envelope with a big cut (about 4 inch) on the back of that envelope; in fact, I took out the box of this scanner through that cut. The seller knew about my complaint but did not respond to my issue.

Nice unit was able to clear airbag light on a new VWBeetle. Lots of information available through the reader.
