Update to previous review. Tripod broke after 2/3 weeks and kept falling over anyway (too lightweight for the job), so bought a sturdier, better one. Only really use the telephoto lens, clamp and controller, which are all fine. In short, if you buy this, expect to need/want to get a separate tripod.

This was discribed to fit many phones but it hasn't I have a Sony xz3 and it's not a fit anyway I tried it on my tablet and it was OK so I have kept it. So beware not knocking the quality or anything else its a good bit of kit.

I found this kit very useful. I wanted to capture the birds and animal life in my garden but from inside the house. After setting up the focus, zoom and choice of lens were very good and the images came out well.The one issue I had was the tripod. Using it I found it to be unstable when all legs were extended, it could not be locked into position so almost immediately they started a slow and unsteady retraction putting it off balance. The legs are not lockable in any position and , to me seem to only work well when fully retracted. If these legs were tighter in their sleeve the kit would have 5 out of 5 stars.

There is no variable zoom function so it’s take it or leave it - and the additional lenses require a different connector so it’s not just a case of unscrewing the lens and screwing in another- you physically have to replace the device that attaches to the phone first which requires some fiddling to set up each time. Having said that the picture quality is quite good.

Really needs some sort of clamp to hold it in place on your phone but that’s the only issue

P20 pro user.So here it is:-The good...*The telephoto lens worked and gave a good picture.*The macro lens worked and gave a good picture.The bad...*The telephoto lens was only better at full zoom, my phone was better the rest of the time.*The macro lens was not as clear as my phone.*The tripod was weak and couldn't hold the weight of the phone and telephoto lens well enough(legs not stiff enough).I think this could be a good purchase if you dont have a flagship phone.The cameras of the higher end phones are probably all better quality and dont need these lenses.

Only few days back I received the product. It was really nice. I would highly recommend it for bidding photographers.
