Focal length is too long for me, 10× is probably a better idea, which essentially can reduce the length and the weight of this lens, and make it easier to take photos without a tripod (all photos shown above were taken handheld though)3. dark corners, but understandable, cropping can solve the problem4. the universal design can't always lock it in place on my iphone xs max when I'm adjusting the focal distance.5. It reduces the amount of the light into the camera, so when I tried to take photos with iphone xs max's telephoto lens (the ×2 lens), the reduced amont of light makes iphone automatically switch to wide angle lens (×1 lens) with 2× digital zoom. But I guess this won't be a problem anyway since wide angle lens + this lens are already enough.New edit: there's a severe issue with this lens, which made me drop to 3 stars from 5 stars. There are TWO images at different focus planes coming out of this lens, one is the image you want (and focus at the phone sensor), and there's another part of light, which I still can't figure out why it appears, affecting the image quality (see the white flare in the last picture). If you use it as a monocular, you can clearly see two parts: one is a circle of light of the desired image, and there's an additional part of light around the image, and probably at a further focal plane, which gives you an annoying white blur/flare at the corner of the image (and it's a quite large portion of the image). Originally I thought I received a defective item, but after getting another one, it still has this issue. It's probably a design flaw. The quality of this lens is still not bad considering the low price, I would say the image sharpness is worth it, but this flaw is too annoying to me and I have to return it.

Given the magnification of the lens, hand-holding an iPad or iPhone still enough by hand is a challenge for this lens. The lens works very well with a small tripod. Optical quality is much better than others I have seen. It will not install over a case (including the iPad case). While this is understandable given the high magnification, it is an inconvenience. The ability to use the lens naked as a monocular is a really nice feature. So, overall, if you need high magnification and preservation of image quality this good lens. It comes with a nice travel pouch and (if you have a mini tripod) is a LOT more compact and light than carrying a camera telephoto outfit. That makes it great for unplanned opportunities or for hiking when you don't want to carry half a pack of camera equipment for "just-in-case". Function as a monocular is really handy and I've stopped carrying a separate one since receiving this lens.

The picture and zoom is good once you've managed to align and attach it to your phone. Given this product is a universal attachment, it takes time to properly line up and screw the device to the phone back camera. With the size of the attachment, however, you can't really keep it on if you plan to stow away you're phone in anyway in between photos.

It was easy to use and attach. The cost want bad either. The picture isn’t as sharp as without the lens.

The size is very small which comes handy. The quality is just okay. Not as great as they described. Very easy to be out focus as other similar products would.

Works well indoors. Sun really impacts quality when outside. Can’t be used with case easily.

Takes good pictures but it’s a little heavy for my iPhone.

Fixed vision.I bought this for my iPhone X to record my daughter’s graduation ceremony in elementary school from a distance of 100 feet but could not capture a single moment.It’s already zoomed in fixed and cannot zoom out.
