Sleep Here I Come
Comfy new mattress. I bought this mattress after having to get rid of my 10 year old one. I bought this because of all the reviews posted on Amazon. From doing research on this mattress it looked like this would provide quality sleep but the mattress would have just enough firmness or give as to not feel like I am sleeping on a hardwood floor. I do not like squishy mattresses or mattresses that sag in the middle. This is definitely not that type of mattress. This mattress came in a big blue duffle bag. We were hoping to keep the duffle bag but it ripped, which worked out to our benefit. Instead of trying to struggle on getting a huge mattress out of the duffle bag we just ripped the fabric and had a nice opening to pull it from. The mattress was then stored in plastic wrap, rolled into a huge sushi roll. I had to get help laying the mattress on the bed and then the cutting away of the plastic began. When laying the mattress on the bed it may be best to lay it in the opposite direction of roll. I say that because when we opened it our mattress it popped out on the bottom side so we had to reflip the mattress to have it the right way.Once the mattress is laid out you should give it at least 48 hours before sleeping on it. This will allow a good amount of time for your mattress to decompress. You want the mattress to inflate to its full capacity before laying or sleeping on it. This also ensures that the full benefit of your 8 inch mattress. Laying on it prior to 48 hours may lessen the lifetime and will definitely make it so your mattress will not fully inflate.I slept on it last night and had one of the best nights sleep in a very long time. My 10 year old mattress was sagging and definitely not firm. This mattress felt like I was sleeping on cotton balls but felt a combination of support and fluff. I think this is because of the way the coils are set on this mattress. I am so happy my mom suggested I look at this mattress especially since I was considering the memory foam ones. But this mattress conforms to my body and provides the needed firmness without feeling like I will sink in. I would definitely recommend this mattress and hope I can get 10 years out of this mattress like I did my Ikea mattress. Great buy and great night sleep.

Fantastic mattress for the money -- Update after two years of use...
Two Year Update:Yesterday I was rotating my mattress after two years (Something one should ordinarily do six months in) and it occurred to me that I've had two solid years of good sleep and zero complaints. This is in the best mattress I've ever owned.Prior to this I made the mistake of buying an Ikea mattress that was three times as expensive and uncomfortable, and I suffered through that for five years before moving and buying this one. This is a good solid product and probably the best value mattress out there. My Original Review:I relocated to a new city and bought this just as a "get me through the first few months" mattress having ZERO expectations for a Queen ordered online from Amazon that cost around $200.I've bought budget mattresses in the past. I had a cheap bonnel coil style mattress out of college that I had for over a decade. After that I "splurged" on an expensive latex mattress from Ikea that turned out to be terrible. This one I wasn't expecting much more performance. Or longevity. In fact, I waited about a month to leave this review just to be sure it wasn't going to conk out on me. So far so good.In fact I'm very pleased. It's a medium firm mattress with just enough give to spread out and sink in a little. The coils make a difference if you're coming from a latex mattress. Support feels a little bit more localized and formidable. I've been sleeping terrific on it.Some of the one star reviews have complained about reliability. I haven't encountered any issues yet my first month in, but it has only been a month, so caveat emptor. There was a "seam" on the exterior when it first resized itself out of the bag, but it has since gone away. You can see the outlines of the individual pockets on the underside of the mattress (this is a pillow top and hence not flippable) but you certainly do not feel it at all when sleeping on the top side. This is a five star product in my opinion. For the value it represents, it's more than exceeded my expectations and I intend to keep it far longer than the few months I had envisioned having it.
