I like barbershop smelling shave soaps like this one. Lathers OK.

This purchase was my third with this brand of shave soap. It stands above other soaps I have used in the past. It loads up easily on the brush, lathers nicely in a bowl or directly on the face. Once lathered, it can withstand several passes of the blade and still remain thick and slippery. The scent never grows old and it reminds me of a barbershop my grandfather used take me to for haircuts back in the 1960's.

After reading reviews I decided to try this soap instead of my usual Martin de Candre.I was extremely disappointed.Takes forever to work up a lather which then disappears quickly on your face.Martin de Candre is far more superior.On a positive note, the scent is amazing.

Simply one of the best hard shaving soaps on the market. Super easy to lather, its very slick and has very good cushioning, very little soap last a lot, and once you lather it it goes very smooth on the face and a very little load i can do easily my 3 passes. The post shave is great, not the best that i have tried, it does feel a little on the dry side, but hey its a soap, not meant to be a moisturizer, that's why we have aftershave with those properties. The scent feels to me like a old barbershop, not my favorite, but not bad at all, really depends on each if the scent is for you.Overall i would place it right up there with other high end soaps like MdC, ABC, XPEC, SMN, for sure will remain on my DEN, and once its used will buy more. If you are into trying a good soap, you should give a shot, its a very nice not so famous soap.

I have a shave soap addiction and have used almost all of the most expensive and best soaps. this one may be the best. Better by far than Xpec and certainly on a par with Martin de Candre, if not better. The scent is unusual, but nice. The performance is outstanding. It lathers faster than any other. Don't miss it. It is a real bargain.

I generally dont write reviews but this shaving soap is the best in the world in terms of performance and after shave feeling.I have almost used all types of soap but nothing beats this one.Fantastic product everyone should buy it.

Slick and easy to whip into a lather. Faint barbershop scent that disappears rapidly and leaves the face feeling and smelling clean.

Lo trovo molto duro da montare e la schiuma tende ad asciugare molto velocemente, personalmente non mi ci trovo. Meglio usarlo con ciotola piuttosto che montaggio diretto sul viso, frulli per mezz’ora ma non tiene la montatura
