Best tuner out there!
I don't review things often and I never thought I'd review a guitar tuner but I love this one! D'Addario's work very well. My sister is learning to play now so I gave her my favorite D'Addario. It was the bigger rectangle on that stood up from the guitar. It tuned very well. I order this smaller one. I had just tuned my guitar with my back up Snark, then I put this new D'Addario on and it definitely retuned it better. I didn't realize how small it was. It is so compact you barely know it is there. I used to put the larger ones on, tune and put it away. This is so discreet and I forget it's there so I leave it on the guitar all the time and just turn it on and off when needed. I can even put my guitar in my case without taking the tuner off. It's always there and ready. I love it.!

The best out there!
Unbelievable! I’ve owned pretty much every tuner over the years since tuners have been made. DO NOT assume that a high priced tuner is the same as a great tuner. Hands down this is the best tuner out there, bar none. It is very small, very discrete and terribly sensitive. If you think that your expensive tuner may not be giving you the results that you were hoping for…you’re probably correct. This tuner will do exactly what you have been waiting for andMore.

Clever design. Tiny and unobtrusive
Love this little tiny tuner. I can leave it on my bass guitar and stick it in the case. I do wish that it was rechargeable, but that is the only Improvement I would make. I like that the orientation of the LED screen can rotate depending on whether you put it on the top side of your bass or the bottom side. I bought a second one for my other bass guitar

The best peg-head tuner yet! Use your own screws!
I love clip-on tuners, as they free-up space on the floor, but the clip-on aspect itself has always been kind of annoying because they're usually not super attractive, and they always have to come off for some reason; guitars usually won't fit in the case with a clip tuner; maybe the tuner clamp degrades the finish if it's left on; the guitar won't hang on the wall; someone asks to use it, etc. I have an acoustic guitar with a built-in tuner, and I have always wondered (except for Gibson's failed robot tuner) why it's not more common to permanently attach a tuner to an electric guitar; this tuner accomplishes that. It's so low-profile that it never gets in the way -- visually or functionally -- as other clip-on tuners can.I no longer have to remove the tuner for any reason; I can put the guitar in its case, and it fits; I can hang it on a wall hanger, and it fits. Because this thing is screwed to the instrument: I'm not going to lose it. If someone asks to borrow my tuner: the answer is going to be "no" because it's attached. It's also completely invisible from the front of the instrument.I love that I can rotate the display 4 different ways to accommodate a variety of head-stock designs, and the display is bright and clear. I compared it to a Peterson StroboClip HD, and -- while I will still use the Peterson for intonation -- the accuracy was pretty tight; I would not have any problems intonating with this tuner in a pinch.Installation was incredibly easy, and requires no permanent modification to your instrument; all you have to do is remove and reinstall a single screw, and this tuner even comes with a couple of slightly-longer screws to account for the thickness of the tuner. If you don't care about permanent modification: you can put this thing literally anywhere with just a single screw. If you're a classical stringed instrument player -- maybe you play cello -- you could easily just screw this thing to your bridge.I like this tuner so much that I'm pretty tempted to install one on every stringed instrument I own.Edited to add: I went to install another one of these on my son's 41-year-old guitar, and one of the screws supplied with the tuner broke in half after a few turns; I had to dig out a bunch of wood around the broken screw to extract it, and then had to dowel the hole. I wish D'Addario wouldn't include such garbage screws with these. Consider using your own steel screws for installing one of these, especially if it's in an older instrument where the wood is aged/hardened. I removed a star from my review for these awful screws.

Compact, Accurate, and Super Convenient – A Must-Have for Any Musician!
These D'Addario Micro Headstock Tuners are absolutely fantastic. I use them on both my acoustic and electric guitars, and they deliver quick, accurate tuning every time. The compact size is a huge plus—it stays out of sight while playing, and doesn't interfere with the aesthetics or balance of the instrument. The clip holds firmly without damaging the finish, and the display is bright and easy to read from multiple angles. I love that the 2-pack lets me keep one on each of my frequently used instruments—no need to swap tuners between sessions. It's also great that this works for a variety of string instruments including ukulele and banjo.Highly recommend for anyone from beginner to pro. This is one of those tools you end up using daily without even thinking about it—and wondering how you ever got by without it!

Just trust me
Legitimately the best clip-on tuner I have ever used. I have had 2 or 3 Snarks, and my last one was the KLIQ UberTuner (please stay far, far away from that piece of junk). As most people who've used these things know - the first point of failure is always the hinge. I don't care which brand, after enough rotating through normal use, the pivot joint WILL wear down and leave you with a "limp noodle".This little thing solves that problem, and then some. It's about as minimalist and unobtrusive as you could get without having something built into the body of your instrument. You just put it in place and give it a squeeze until it fastens snugly to the headstock, then it's able to rotate along its x-axis so you can adjust it for readability. Really, really great design, and I much prefer not having something sticking out off the end of my guitarThe LCD screen is bright and incredibly easy to read, especially considering how small it actually is. Another great feature is the ability to change the orientation of the display with the push of a button, so you're not reading upside-down or sideways. As far as doing it's actual job - it's great! Super responsive (which is a must), and it doesn't "jump around" like some other tuners tend to sometimes do. For me, this thing was definitely worth the few extra bucks over yet another Snark.
