Junkers Ju 52: A History: 1933-1945

As with all the other Classic Publications, this book on the Ju52 is well designed, detailed and handsomely bound. Worth the cost for any military or aviation historian.

I’m enjoying the research put into this book and images are well reproduced. I would have liked to have seen a few more color profiles.

I have several books on the Ju52. This is by far the best presented of them all. In fact I am so impressed that I am going to get the other books in the series i.e He111 and He117

The team of. Forsyth and Creek does it again. Tons of new information and photos on this bird, and the entire development line up to and including the Ju 352. Many unpublished photos, and the few that have been published before are no where near the clarity of the ones here. This is, and will be, the definitive book on "Tante Ju". Get the book now, as years from now the price for a used one will be a lot higher as are all the books in this Classic series. It deserves all the five star ratings it receives.Now, if only they will (please) give the same treatment to the Dornier Do 17 thru Do 317 series.

Good book, rather short on color illustrations which i like. It is a good detailed history, great for historians of German WW II aircraft

Parfait pour étudier et l'empire industriel Junkers et le Ju 52, je reste sur ma faim tout de même. Pas de plans, pas de photos de détails. On en regrette encore plus l'absence après avoir parcouru le volume consacré au Do 335, un modèle du genre, doté d'une iconographie extraordinaire.Coté plus, on appréciera la qualité des photos et des documents d'usine, l'étude de certaines unités et des théatres d'opération.

Testo esaustivo in materia . Gli autori sono una garanzia e non deludono mai . Strepitosa iconografia e interessantissimi disegni tecnici . Unico neo rispetto ai precedenti titoli della collana e' la dimensione ridotta dei profili a colori , peraltro molto belli ... Peccato ! Il costo del volume non giustifica questa limitazione .

A very good book - covering all versions Ju52 up to the end of WW2. Always been interested in the floatplane, which I remember Airfix used to have the option in their old 1/72 model.A couple of downsides, which will not effect my 5 stars, one is the full price of £60 - which may be realistic considering I may have paid £20+ in 1980's, hint please reprint some of your early issues - perhaps in paperback - He177 / He162 / Hs129?The other minor issue is on the colour profiles, the highlighting, to me, gave the impression of a slight 'hump' behind the cockpit.
