M77 and M77 MKII WEIG-A-TINNY Style Scope Mount-Our Newest Scope Mount. This mount converts the scope ring attaching points to a WEIG-A-TINNY Picatinny Weaver style mounting point. To determine if your rifle is the short action you need to measure from the center of the rear scope ring slot on the top of the receiver to the center of the front scope ring slot. The short action is 4” long, larger readings are the long action. Accepts all Weaver and Picatinny style rings and accessories. Available in black weighs 3.1 ounces. NOTE: Long Action Only The M77L is not suggested for the following caliber power factors Use this formula. Multiply bullet weight times velocity. If you exceed a power factor of 500,000 the M77L will not hold up. You will need to use our new M77LX mount. Example: .338 Win Mag.... Bullet weight 200 gr...Velocity 2950 fps..... 200 x 2950=590,000 this exceeds the M77L mount capability the M77LX would be required
