Pure, Potent, and Excellent Quality
Shea Terra’s Egyptian Black Seed Oil is incredibly high quality. It’s cold‑pressed, extra virgin, and you can feel the purity from the very first use. The texture is rich, the flavor is authentic, and it blends beautifully into wellness routines. A fantastic all‑natural oil for daily support.

Seriously inlove--Thank you Shea Terra for this amazing product!
I have combination skin that is acne prone. I use Retin A and when I am on it my skin is super sensitive (I use it on and off since you're only supposed to use it for 2 months at a time--read up on it, most doctors won't even tell you this information, but it harms your liver tremendously if you use it for more than 2 months at a time). Anyway, regardless of whether I am on Retin A or not this oil is perfect for my skin. One squirt is enough for my whole face. I usually put a moisturizer on top of it after it's been absorbed (about 5 minutes). I also use this on my body: 1 pump of my lotion + 1 pump of argan oil per each body part and my skin has never been so soft and smooth before. So far I've only used it once in my hair after swimming in a pool at a BBQ. I put a squirt in my hand and ran it through my hair as best I could and focused on my ends. I did that several times and when I shampooed my hair it didn't feel stripped like it usually does after being in a highly chlorinated pool all day. I've also noticed that my cuticles and hangnails are significantly dimished...Usually I have a TON of hangnails that I pick at (gross I know), but since I don't have anymore hangnails there is nothing to pick at, so my hands look great! What can I say...this stuff is amazing! PS--I also purchased a few other brands of argan oil on here and they were all rancid. This is the only one that I received that was organic, cold pressed, and fresh.

applied my makeup and everything seemed fine until the evening
Let me just say...OUCH! I recently purchased this item and tried it the very day it arrived. I mixed/diluted it with jojoba oil which I recently purchased as well, applied my makeup and everything seemed fine until the evening. My face was slowly getting itchy and uncomfortable as the day went on but not unbearable. When I began taking off my makeup, my face started getting even more irritated but it calmed down once all my makeup was off. Like a dummy though I applied more tamanu oil (diluted with more jojoba oil) and a few minuted later, my face was unbearably itchy, red, and on FIRE! I couldn't get the pain to stop even after rinsing my face thoroughly and many times! It was burning so bad! All night my face felt completely uncomfortable and it wasn't until I washed it the next day that I started to feel a little bit better. It took another full day till the pain, irritation, and burning was gone. I must have gotten some on my ears because they were the most itchy of everything and looked as though they had hives on them. I'm pretty sure I had an allergic reaction to this oil and this is coming from someone who's not allergic to nuts (this oil comes from a nut) or much anything else. I was a big red-faced ball of burn! It hurt so bad! Also, the pump didn't work like at all. The oil was so thick and gooey. I should have known from that point. I don't even know if what I bought was what I really bought. Trust your gut people! Oh and I know for sure it wasn't the jojoba oil because I'm still using that today and it works wonderfully! It actually helped soothe my skin after the allergic reaction. I just wanted to tell you all this so that you take precautions in buying something your skin is not used to having on it. Heed this warning and beware of who you are buying from. Don't believe all the hype and be careful with new skin products. Amazon was very cooperative with my return/complaints however. The seller never con

Less is more, does wonders for my dry ends
I went looking for argon oil after my hairdresser suggested I rub some on my chronically dry and brittle ends. I don't use any hair products and don't abuse it with heat damage, but my hair was always really dry and damaged. I've been using Shea Terra Organics Argan Oil for about a week now and my hair has completely changed. My curls are more defined and bouncy and my hair is super soft. I apply it on my damp ends after I've showered. Less is more, I only use one pump of oil for whatever I'm going to use it for: hair or skin. The bottle says that you can use it as a deep conditioning treatment by massaging the oil into your scalp and then shampooing as usual. I'm excited to try this as my ultimate goal is to grow my hair out long and healthy. This is a 2 oz bottle, but I imagine this lasting me a while since I use so little. I've read that exposure to oxygen lessens the shelf life of argan oil (which is about a year), so the pump on the bottle is an added bonus (no need to unscrew the top). It's also a great post facial-cleanse moisturizer! Again I only use one pump, rub it between my hands and then apply to my face. It absorbs super quickly and my skin is left feeling very soft and hydrated. I've read that it evens out skin tone and fades acne scars? It's too soon to tell if that's true, but it has now replaced my facial moisturizer! I researched argan oil and there are several brands out there that vary wildly in price. Now that depends on which branding mogul is backing the brand and the marketing costs, but really, when it comes down to it, you should be looking for four things: (1) 100% pure argan oil (there should be no other ingredients), (2) it should be cold-pressed, (3) it should have a mild nutty fragrance and (4) it should be stored in a dark glass bottle. As for the smell, it fades quickly once applied. Mine smelled mildly nutty like plain popcorn. I'm giving this brand 4 stars because it doesn't seem to have an expiration date on it, something that would be nice to have considering it only keeps for about a year.

Helped with acne, but a not as moisturizing as I'd hoped. Otherwise its a part of my nightly routine because it feels great! Benefits my dry curly hair too. Smell is subtle.
