Great book. Enjoyed playing most of the songs

I really enjoy this book and so do my students. In fact, I liked it so much that I got 2 copies (one to keep in each classroom). It really is a book that you can just get lost in with a variety of styles of pieces from arrangements of pop songs to film music to classical repertoire. I particularly enjoy playing the A Thousand Years arrangement from the Piano Guys. I certainly don't consider myself a pianist but find it accessible as a good sight reader. Some of our school pianists have started working on various pieces from this book just for fun, as break from the performance and exam pieces that they are practicing. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for something to dip into and play for pleasure. I'd estimate it being manageable from grade 3-6.

Okay so I bought this book with a few songs in mind which I was excited to play ASAP which are written on the track list on the amazon page but aren’t actually in the book. The songs not included are: HEALAH DANCING, JERUSALEM, JUPITER , and WAY DOWN WE GO. There are also no lyrics included for the songs with words In , for those interested in having the lyrics with the book. Other than that would recommend. INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

My 16-year-old daughter is practising for her grade 7, she found this book really good. A large and varied range of pieces.The music is well written and sounds like the originals, I would highly recommend.

Very pleased with the book, many year ago i got to grade 4 level, i can play a few pieces straight away, hoping with time i can work out the others as i am quite rusty! Only 1 star off and lyrics would have been a bonus but would recommend.

This has a brilliant selection of well-known tunes from all sorts of different genres from Broadway classics to modern pop to famous classic pieces, all nicely written for a solo pianist without vocal accompaniment. The difficulty varies from piece to piece, but none are overly-demanding and one or two would be suitable for near-beginners. Should be an essential purchase to go in the music collection of anyone learning the piano or keyboard, really.
