Vango Taiga 600 XL Airbeam Tent

We bought this tent early this year and have been away in it 4 times during the year. It's super quick and easy to put up, my husband put it up by himself on one occasion. It has with stood wind, rain and full sun with no problem. We love it!!

Peg out guy ropes. Jobs a good'un.Time from pulling up in car, to having tent up, pegged out, all airbeds up, all clothes in tent and all the accessories..... 45minutesDon't hesitate, buy one!!!

Absolutely awful, I brought this tent expecting it to last years ! In fact it last 6 days in st Ives. The stitching around the zip to the main door came apart, the stitching that holds the toggles together on the sleeping compartments came apart. We had 2 days of rain and there was water coming in from everywhere. We where very disappointed it ruined our holiday. The tent has been returned and we have our money back and I will not be buying another vango.

I bought mine from another website and have to say I wish I'd kept my Outwell Vermont LP as its a far better quality tent.The Taiga is a decent tent & its nice not to have any poles (only the one for the porch) to be messing around with.My biggest gripe is the weight of the bedroom inners makes the rear portion of the tent sag (see photo). As well as this looking horrible it means it sags and sits on the inners and although it didn't rain on us I imagine water would sit on it adding extra weight as it wont run off as well as if the material was taught. Had the bedroom hanging straps had been made a little longer this would have meant the inners would sit on the floor better and not be pulling the beams inwards in order for them to reach properly.I am currently in the process of getting mine exchanged or refunded.

The inflation works brilliantly and is really simple. Despite this I feel the price is still excessive for what you get.My main gripe however is that some of the stitching is faulty and the tent came with a 4 inch cut right through the bag and groundsheet so Iam in the process of returning it for a replacement.

I bought this tent over 2 years ago and as me, my girlfriend and dog are keen campers we’ve used it about 10 times, it’s easy to put up and very spacious inside and withstands the roughest of weather. The only tiny issue was we had a tiny bit of water seep through on a particular bad weather weekend but apart from this I would say it’s a fantastic tent. I’ve been camping about 8 times a year for years and this is the best and easiest tent I’ve had. I’m not sure why it’s had bad reviews, I can only assume people are not packing/ looking after their tent properly. I would highly recommend this tent.

I did not purchase this tent from Amazon but a local tent supplier. I would avoid this tent at all costs. After less than 3 years use it is leaking like a sieve, doesn’t matter how many times I re-proof it with Fabsil. There is an issue with the back roof panel which sags disputed the tent being pitched correctly. I did speak to the supplier about this and they acknowledged that this is a common problem with this tent and they duly sent it for repair. An extra guy rope was added to the last beam and this has helped but unfortunately due to the continuous pooling of rain water the material has stretched and the plastic coating has torn away from the nylon fabric which Is exasperating the problems of leaking. A 3 year old tent is now only fit for landfill!!

I can only echo the other reviews here: this is a dreadful product. We used it for five nights last year, at the end of which one of the valves flew out rendering it unusable. We did get a replacement under guarantee but found that another of the tubes has a leak and after a short rain shower, every seam around the air beams leaked and we spent the next hour running around with towels catching drips. This is clearly over designed, over engineered and very badly constructed. I cannot use it again and will be writing to Vango, with photographic evidence, to get a full refund. I'll let you know what happens.
