There is best-selling classical music from Sir Charles Mackerras and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra's Classical BRIT and double BBC award-winning album Mozart Symphonies 38-41, plus the Gramophone award-winning album from Dunedin Consort, the revelatory 1742 Dublin version of Handel's Messiah. Claire Martin and Carol Kidd, both early signings to the Linn label, have amassed enviable discographies; Claire Martin has established herself as a tour de force on the UK jazz scene winning at the British Jazz Awards seven times! Representing Linn's commitment to home-grown Scottish talent are Maeve O'Boyle, Fiona Mackenzie and newcomer Amy Duncan, whose 2013 album Cycles of Life is a beautifully crafted album of quietly powerful songs. Names Linn fans will be happy to see back on the bill include Hue & Cry, Ray Gelato Giants, Martin Taylor and Jon Strong. The strength of Linn's classical catalogue is clear and resulted in the label being named Gramophone 'Label of the Year' in 2010. Typical Linn
Great recordings and pressing. It is a joy to listen to if not because of the different taste of music. Need a stronger producer for the album. Great quality of sound but not my cup of tea for the music choice, too bad. Only listen to once and put it on display.

Musicalmente valido ma non è un SACD
Dal punto di vista musicale mi ha sorpreso molto positivamente. Anche il livello tecnico e la resa sonora sono notevolissimi, tuttavia lo avevo acquistato per testare il SACD due canali e invece si tratta di un "normale" (anche se registrato benissimo) CD. Peccato.

Quedando claro que ni son SACD ni es tal vol. 7, porque yo tengo los 6 volm. En SACD, quiero decir que es una recopilación de grabaciones de la casa Linn Records. Y que el cd 1 es de Jazz con 21 temas y el cd 2 son de Clásica con 19 temas. Suenan muy bien y los temas son bastante buenos. Lo recomiendo.

Amazon sollte die Artikelbeschreibung überarbeiten, denn so werden nur falsche Erwartungen geschürt. Die Musik und der Klang sind als linntypisch zu bezeichnen. Aber wenn man SACDs erwartet, ist die Lieferung von CDs schon enttäuschend!

ＬＩＮＮ レコードはＳＡＣＤを探すうちに出会いました。今までに THE SUPER AUDIO SURROUND COLLECTION シリーズを4作購入し大変満足して、そこに入っていた曲のアルバムを3枚購入し愛聴しています。その延長で、このアルバムを躊躇なく購入しました。２枚組で、１枚目がクラッシック以外、２枚目がクラッシックです。ＬＩＮＮ で初めて知った、Ｋｕｎｉｋｏ Ｋａｔｏ も入っていました。ただ ＳＡＣＤ ではない（たぶん）ので、少し音が２％くらい違う気がして星四つ。
