Clam Knife, Stainless Steel Blade

After using a screwdriver, a hammer, and a knife to open clams up it was such a relief to receive this clam knife - I just pushed the edge of the knife into the clam and it opened them up within seconds. You're getting exactly what you want when you order this.

My husband has begun clamming and we needed an extra clamming knife so I purchased this. I love the soft handle. Plus the size of it gives you a real good grip on the knife. I recommend this......plus I recommend Amazon's Prime service. I always receive my purchases quickly.

I feel that the blade could be thicker on the back side. More firm.

Sturdy and works well. For those who cut down from the neck, the knife is too wide and should be used from zipper up...

I have used several clam knives over the years. This one is the best. Nice handle and the blade is sharp enough to be able to "start" opening the clam easily. I recommend this knife!
