This review is for The entire study guide series by this author. My husband and I started studying Genesis back in July of 2020 —16 months ago we have not yet finished it. The genesis study guide is divided into 3 books. We read the bible, read the study guide and discuss the questions in it. The author coments and the question are amazing. My husband didn’t grew up in the Church I did , but neither of us ever learned so much from Genesis. My 7 years marriage went to another level of intimacy because now we do I devotional together every morning for 15-30 minutes. We read, we discuss the questions slowly to digest everything and we pray together. Thank God for this author for putting together this thoughtful study guide. Now we are excited to start the Exodus 🥰

I am using this book in a Bible Study involving four men who have met for number of years. It is the most in depth guide for the study of Genesis that we have found so far. We each study the lessons separately for a week then meet and share our individual responses to the study questions. Dr MacArthur has done a masterful job in creating such great study guide. This has not been the first time we have studied Genesis but we have a better understanding than before.

This is the third book of a three part bible study in the book of Genesis. Our men’s group has said that they discovered that this truly is the whole foundation of the Bible and were amazed that even if this was the only book of the Bible that God provided us it contains enough to look for our Savior who was revealed when he became man and walked amongst us.
