Quality, absorbent tampons - easy to use
These tampons are simple, work great, and absorb a lot of liquid. I do use them in conjunction with pads since my body is different after childbirth. I’m very happy with these!

Been looking for a light flow product that's also not as bad as other brands. These are so tiny, I love them. There's no poking or uncomfortable feeling + they're more environmentally friendly so yay! Haven't had any accidents so far and I usually aim to swap out them every 6 hours just to be safe.

Save so much space (and plastic!)
I love the Cora brand tampons because they are 100% organic cotton, no chemicals or bleach. I try to mind my carbon foot print and use a cup, but I also do like to have some single use products on hand incase of emergency. I feel much better knowing I am creating minimal waste. These are very compact and about the length of one of their regular compact tampons. It’s perfect for backpacking, hiking, or just to save space in your bathroom. I haven’t used them yet, but I imagine they expand in the same circular fashion their applicator tampons do, which is far superior for preventing leaks.

Finally, Non-Plastic Light Tampons!
I recently had to quit using a cup. This is my first time buying tampons since about 2015. Now, I’ve always been the sort who only needs the “regular” absorbency on the first day or so. However, back in about 2010, the common cheap store brands stopped carrying normal cardboard applicator types in light size. Only ridiculous plastic brands like Tampax Pearl were selling the light kind. O.b. was otherwise my go-to, but their smallest size is “regular”. I had mostly given up and for years just used a pad on the last ~2 days and coped with the resulting rash (one reason I transferred to a cup back then). Imagine my surprise when I not only found a non-plastic-applicator tampon, but one without an applicator entirely, like o.b! Cora *is* a bit pricey compared to o.b. (just under twice the price), but since I only need maybe 5 or 6 a month to finish out the last couple days, it’s not a huge price hit. In every other way, Cora looks and acts identical to the o.b. ones. To have non-applicator tampons in the light size is absolutely great. Anyone who has a light-to-moderate flow but doesn’t want to be littering plastic all the time would be well served to get these guys!

Pretty good, not perfect
Overall in terms of reducing waste/environmental footprint--these Cora non-applicator tampons are good, not great. (see reasoning below) Pros: -super soft & easy to apply (doesn't rub or feel uncomfortable at all!) -you'll be shocked by how much these tiny things can absorb--for reference, each one un-used is about the size of a bullet! Cons: -since I was attempting to reduce my waste from tampons, I was a bit disappointed to discover each one of these tampons is wrapped in an individual plastic covering. But if comparing these to a typical tampon with huge plastic applicator & plastic wrapper, these will definitely reduce your waste, but NOT eliminate it completely. So I think these are a step in the right direction for those who are reluctant to try "menstrual cups", etc. Maybe in the future Cora will re-think the individual plastic wrapping, but for now, I will be sticking with these as I still feel these produce much less waste than any other tampons on the market, and are super comfortable while getting the job done!

OBSESSED!!
Pleasantly surprised!!! Way more comfortable to insert, takes about a third of the space the boxes took, and absorbs just like the other Cora tampons. 😍

SO GOOD for lighter days!
I started using these back when I was constantly spotting on my IUD. The spotting was too heavy for a liner but too light for a regular tampon (plus I didn’t want to wear pads all of the time), so this was a godsend. I switched back to the pill so I’m not spotting 24/7 anymore, but these are still good for lighter period days or when I occasionally have heavier spotting. For everyone writing negative reviews for the size L about being too small—pick a larger size. It’s supposed to be smaller than regular tampons, and I’m glad for that!
