what can I say - it's not safe to back in the water as long as Jim Toomey is writing for the lagoon. I must have bought quite a few of his collections twice because I'd forgotten I'd purchased it before, but I enjoyed each one just as much as the first time I'd read it.I only wish out paper (Greensboro, NC News and Record) would pick it up,.

Jim is awesome at bringing our lives under the sea and into his characters. I can see people that I know in each character, and that makes "Sherman's Lagoon" real for me. The adventures of Sherman, Fillmore, Hawthorne and Ernest should be read by all.

All Jim Toomey's Sherman's Lagoon books are great - I have almost the entire collection and enjoy them over and over. I would recommend his books to anyone who enjoys a sense of humor in everyday life.

Sharks! Crabs! funny!!! always a great comic, this book contains a nice collection of recent strips. Always funny, never dull!

funny stuff and somewhat different. who would think of making a great white shark the featured character in a comic strip?

Toomey is always fun, even if a bit predictable at times

Jim Toomey is just hilarious! I've now got quite a large collection of Sherman and his Lagoon

Even after som many years Shermans lagoon doesn't get old. Some repetition, but Toomey is good at coming up with new plots for Sherman and his friends.

One of the more creative strips out there. Been reading Sherman since day one, with admiration for Toomey's ability to make a comic strip featuring fish (and fish-like creatures) work.

Sherman und seine Freunde sind einfach grossartig, auch wenn man natürlich bei der Originalausgabe viele Gags erstmals sprachlich hinterfragen muss, man kann sich aber an der Mimik der Akteure orientieren. Sternabzug für die etwas schwächeren Schwarz-Weiss-Strips.

Mittlerweile die 18. Kollektion die ich habe und es wird nicht weniger lustig. Der Preis bei Vorbestellung war auch wieder absolut günstig.
