Obviously the guys behind this amazing series, fantastically written and drawns
WHO YOU GONNA CALL?? Obviously the guys behind this amazing series, fantastically written and drawns, this new Ghostbuster series is down right fantastic. This book was so fun seeing the crew get out of NYC and seeing soe interesting and unique local hauntings and ghosts from around this great country, this was such a fun read. I love the little cameos and tributes through out the series like the Blues brothers, A-Team ,Michael Jackson, and Fox Mulder. Can't get enough! Highly reccomend

Ghostbusters Road Trip!
I've been keeping up with this series since it started, and the writing just keeps getting better. This volume deals with a question that I know many Ghostbusters fans have probably asked themselves: "What about the rest of the country? Do the Ghostbusters ever leave New York?"The volume contains issues 9-12, each story deals with another part of the country in a fascinating way (like dealing with "alien" ghosts). The writers obviously love the Ghostbusters mythos a lot, and have done their homework bringing all the various elements together into this series. A huge example is the re-introduction of a fan-favorite of the short lived Extreme Ghostbusters cartoon, Kylie Griffin. She works part-time at Ray's Occult Books, while doing research for the boys while they're out in the field.I highly recommend this series to any Ghostbusters fan. I expect great things from this series!

Coast to Ghost
Detroit, New Orleans, Roswell, and Seattle. These are the main stops for our heroes as they take clients across the country. They all mix with local scenes and legends from history. Interesting read and introduces a new character that will prove a helpful ally in future adventures.

If you like ghostbusters you'll love this.
Anyone who loved the movies will love this. It stars the character from the movies. It also has references to the 80's cartoon show in the background. Get the earlier volumes first though.

Very good. I enjoyed the Ghostbusters being out of New York. I really enjoyed the Roswell bit and the X-Files gag.

The team behind this REALLY know what they are doing!
The team behind these GB comics really have this franchise heading in the right direction. The development of the ghosts, the writing, characterisation, pencil and colour work continue to be perfect. There is no need to make a 3rd film, THIS continues to be the best effort to continue the franchise since the Videogame. Having read the IDW Omnibus of recent GB stories and not been too impressed by all of them I wasn't too sure what to expect from this. I needn't have worried. The best parts of the Omnibus stories are exactly what has been used in volumes 1, 2, 3 and the soon to be published 4. The art brilliantly melds the two films with the cartoon/comics styles. Each character has a clear and effective look all with excellent colour work. The story balances the silly/comic moments with scary moments very well and also begins to develop arcs that could well just run and run (a bit like how The Walking Dead is a story without end I suppose), great! The plot also melds the films with cartoons (both Real and Extreme GB, just check out the developing gear that crops up) and references the Videogame as well all in a very subtle and cool way. I also really liked the background hide-and-seek GB franchise and general eighties (with a bit of 90's X-files) references that the artist used in volume 1 then 2 and are continued here in volume 3. The gallery of other artists interpretations and post cards (this volume is all about their travels to "Bust-stops" across America to tackle ghost problems outside of New York). This volume also gives the bonus end story by Tristan Jones (a very different art style to the main stories) a chance at a longer story about the actual Ghostbusters too as in the previous his end bonus stories were a great (About Peck and then Tobin) but quite brief. Ghostbusters Volume 4: Who Ya Gonna Call? (Ghostbusters Graphic Novels)Ghostbusters Volume 1 (Ghostbusters Graphic Novels)Ghostbusters Volume 2 (Ghostbusters Graphic Novels) I can't wait to read volume 4 now! The franchise is in perfectly safe hands with this development, writing, art and colour team. Please don't ever mess with that IDW!NOTE: After checking around a few websites it's clear that this IDW series consider the two films and recent computer game as canon and the cartoon versions as a separate world. So they will be referencing the cartoons and maybe borrowing ideas and characters from those other versions but fully integrating them all probably isn't all that likely or even possible. Still I do hope the other Extreme GB team members get a moment as Kylie has been used in this IDW version. Ghostbusters Volume 4: Who Ya Gonna Call? Road Trip!
Ghostbusters on tour in this volume and it didn't disappoint. Each one taking a lead and the banter from Venkman's character is great. Also really enjoyed the last story about the ghost truck and the poor girl. (Not poor as in money but more about life. I say no more unless you have read it then you will know what I am driving at.). It was a great story with just Dr Peter Venkman in it. It is a story that I ave heard all through my life with slightly different twists to it. This one still kept me entertained. A great series of stories. I will soon be on number 4!

Childhood brought to life
Although the characters are visually different from the originals of the 80s the personality to each remains clear for the reader. Great stories although brief, an enjoyable read
