Excellent for wood with metal staples in it
I used these to cut into cabinet face frames to accommodate a soft-close hinge and full-overlay door refacing project with 1/8" between doors. Impossible-to-remove staples were embedded into the corners, causing dangerous kickback and sparks with a regular wood blade not to mention the blade wore down quickly. These powered through the wood/staples with ease. An oscillating saw with a wood/metal blade just kicked back and didn't offer stability - scary and ineffective. Happy to have these Bosch blades in my arsenal - would like a shorter blade option but oh, well.

Swiss made Bosch jigsaw blades ,, the best blades at a great price ! And delivery was a day early ty for the prompt service,,,

Best blade for cutting 1/8" aluminum
Great blades. In addition to holding up well for wood with nails I've found it to be the best blade ever for cutting 1/8" flat aluminum (probably all types of aluminum except real thin sheet). Doesn't load up with melted aluminum like metal cutting blades and doesn't dull from the aluminum. Lasts a long time and cuts very fast.

Use the right blade for the job
These bi-metal blades are worth the extra money. I tried using a HCS blade to cut composite decking and got about 6 inches with a new blade before the teeth were rounded over. One of these blades lasted the rest of the decking job and still cuts fast and straight.

It's a 5 1/4in blade that in my jigsaw has a max cut of a little less than 3.5in which unfortunately meant the reason I bought it was long enough to cut it properly.
