Victor Wood Desktop Organizer with Closing Door, S4720 (Classic Silver), No Assembly Required …

Following a prolonged search, I purchased the Victor Wood Desktop Organizer with Closing Door in Pure White (for $75.99 with free Prime shipping). This was worth the effort and the price: I absolutely love this organizer.First impression: The high quality of the unit is obvious. The wood is beautiful and thick, plus the semi-glossy finish gives it a classy look.Ive found this to be an incredibly functional destop organizer. It enables me to keep a "mail processing station" on my desk. I place interior file folders in each slot. I can see the labels without removing the folders. The best part is that when I no longer want to look at healthcare invoices or utility bills, SHUT! It's out of sight.I use the bottom drawer to keep 2 stacks of different types of business sized envelopes close by. On the surface, I use the smaller matching organizer by Victor to keep frequently used items accessible, such as pens/pencils, highlighters dry erase markers, scissors, stapler, tape and a ruler.The door slides open and shut easily, and it's never got stuck. The bottom drawer also works well and is easy to open thanks to the finger sized cutout.I owne several other mathcing items by Victor, including the monitor stand, printer stand, graduated file folder holder, and the other larger destop organizer. I'm very happy with the quality of this brand and recommend these items to anyone looking for classy and solid office accessories.

Looks great, and took away the clutter from my desktop. Much sturdier than expected.

This is a good-quality, weighty piece that looks pretty good and holds quite a bit. It was packaged extremely well. There are a couple of drawbacks though. 1) It has an odor to it. I let it air out for a couple of weeks -- especially with the drawer taken out -- and that helped a lot. There's still a lingering smell but it's slight. 2) There was a stray silver mark -- like someone had dripped lighter silver paint on it -- on one side of the drawer. It wasn't a problem to just turn the drawer around so the other side faces out but that speaks to quality control. 3) The silver color was darker than I thought it would be though it still works for my decor. 4) I think it's overpriced. All that said, I wanted a gray organizer with a flat top that would fit in a certain amount of space - and this fit the bill.

I love the color as it goes so well with my existing decor! Sleek and contemporary for my home office. I saw a black one in an office supply store they wanted over $100. for it. So I checked Amazon and found out that it comes in several colors. It certainly fits my need perfectly, I love being organized and things are tucked away out of sight.

This product is NOT WOOD. It is in reality MDF!!! Shame on this manufacturer and vendor for fraudulent marketing practices! When MDF gets wet it 'explodes' (expands GREATLY and loses its form and strength) and furniture made from MDF has a very limited lifespan compared to real wood.Update: 02-08-2017Amazon is apparently allowing certain sellers such as sellers of Victor 'Wood' products to sell via fraudulent descriptions and product claims? Amazon has been informed since over a month ago that these products are not wood yet the seller continues to market under the same false claims of "Wood" products!! Ridiculous!! Amusing that 73% of reviewers at the time I wrote this had given this 'wood' product 5 star reviews!! Sounds like either a bunch of fake reviews or over 90% of the people who bought this item apparently have absolutely NO idea what real wood looks smells OR feels like!! The product wouldnt smell toxic like this if it was real wood, it would be about half the weight, and youd be able to see that it was real wood via close inspection...or normally even not so close inspection.

The stench when you first open the box is enough to make you vomit. I let it sit outside for 2 days and then it is bearable. I don't keep it closed because then the smell returns. If yhey could get rid of the odor, it would be a 5 star item.

Looks so sharp in my office. Good construction, easy to just slide the slats into place. Purchased Silver File organizer and it fits perfectly on top. Have gotten a lot of compliments. A bit pricier than your average office supply stuff, but def worth it when compared for quality!

This is by far the nicest organizer I’ve ever bought. You can even close the front of it it has a little door that comes down so you don’t have to see all your paperwork. I got mine in silver matches my desk. I looove it!!! These guys have amazing office products!
