What does anyone want out of a protection plan? That if it becomes necessary to use it it's simple to exercise and you get your benefit quickly. Asurion fulfilled both of those requirements fully. I will use them again in the future when I want a protection plan.

Great protection for all my products!
After at least 23 months of using my Smart Watch, it wouldn't hold the charge and later stopped working.I file a claim with Asurion my protection plan.I was so impressed with the service quality I received; and, how fast it was for them to notify me of the reimbursement they gave me right away so I can get my NEW Smart Glasses.I can now have Peace of mind knowing that with the other Asurion Protection plans I have for other products I bought, I will be covered and protected.Thank you

Process is not as easy as they advertise, you have to fill out forms , send receipts and wait for the process. I am gonna give it a 4 just because they were able to solve it and successfully process the claim. It’s just the process, it’s time consuming and nowadays a lot of us don’t have much time for it. Overall I will buy again , I’m just gonna have in mind that the process it’s gonna be time consuming.

Failed updates on claim status
I had filed a claim and sent the product back as requested. After verifying they had received the item (tracking) nothing was done. I called after 3 days to check the status of the claim and was promised an Amazon Gift Card would be issued within 24 to 72 hours (this was on a Monday). Eight days later I still hadn't seen any correspondence concerning the gift card or any questions, so I call again and the rep was able to see my previous call on the system and the promise of a refund in 24 to 72 hours, and I'm on the phone for over 45 minutes with a rep who says "I understand your frustration, but we are working on it". When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was told "they are all busy because we have a high volume of calls. My response was, if you properly handle the customer the first time then your call volume would diminish, as I wouldn't be on the phone now.I was finally promised that a supervisor would call me that day before 5:00 pm, and needless to say THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. After another 3 or 4 days (again no one had called or no emails to me) I FINALLY received an email letting me know an Amazon gift card was being issued, and to wait 24 hours for processing or something like that.I had recently purchased another product on Amazon and got the Asurion protection plan, which I promptly cancelled after all of this. I won't be buying any more Asurion plans, as I shouldn't have to make multiple calls to follow up on a refund. I'm grateful that the last product I bought came with a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer (missed this on the Amazon page but link was in the packaging with the product) and the Asurion plan was just a bonus.
