This timer works as intended. I see reviews where people refer to this as an Omron timer. It is not an Omron timer, it is a cheap imitation. It has the same part number, It looks and works the same but probably not as reliable. I used this to time-out a power relay for a snow melt system so I only use it a few times a year (if I am lucky). Note, that there is no panel mount bracket available for this. You will have to make your own method to flange mount it into the panel so that the dials are on the outside of the box. Making a mounting bracket is not easy, there is nothing but small ribs on the side to mount to. I include a picture of what I did and it was a PITA. The one defect I did find is the Mode setting letters don't line up with the window, not that big of a deal, you have to turn the dial out of its detent slightly to see what the mode letter is then turn it back. Whatever documentation was sent with this was worthless, no explanation of how each mode operates. I ended up downloading the manual from Omron and the mode operations are similar.

Zero stars, this is the second order to be returned as they are being misleadingly being listed. They are shown as 100-240 volts AC and showing up as 220 volts AC only, which I can not use.I am continuing to place orders until I get the correct ones, and sending back the rest!

Before I installed this timer I hooked it up on the bench to verify that it worked OK. Initially both relays checked out OK so I proceeded to install it. When I went to use it, it would not supply power to the circuit. After removing the unit and rechecking it on the bench, one of the relays was not working. The other was still operational. So this unit appears to use sub-standard parts since I would think it would last longer than the very few times it was actually used. This unit was controlling a very light load of less than 1A so way below its rating of 5A. Other than the early failure, it did appear to operate as indicated which is why I rated 2 stars vs 1 star.

Wish I could have given these timers 0 stars. I have worked with Control systems for over 30 years. These Timing relays are a waste of time. I received 2 units , neither of which would work. One would not adjust at all and the other did nothing but heat up. Amazon was very quick to send a replacement which also didn't work.
