Great alternative to traditional laces
Item arrived on time and in good order, and is as pictured; I'm loving these-got a set for a pair of low work shoes, and they worked out great, so I got another set of black which I put on a pair of 8" canvas top L.L.Bean boots, which has worked very well-used to take, no fooling, 5 minutes to put on & lace up and just as long to get off, now they just slip on & off (too weak for the regular leather top Bean boots though) also got a set of gray for my wife-took awhile to get right because of the design of her shoes, but once we got it all sorted out she loves them too

Geeat, and so simple.
Great product and so simple. If you look closely they are obviously fake laces, so be aware of you are still trying to keep and aura of professionalism. I'm a dad so I don't care, I can slip my shoes on and off with ease. They are a little difficult to install but that's a one time thing. When installing don't be afraid to really yank them through the eyelets, you won't tear it.

GREAT FOR OLD GUYS OR FOR YOUNG GUYS. FOR IN-BETWEEN GUYS, THEY'RE OPTIONAL.
I use these and my three-year old-grandson uses them. They're great for both of us. He isn't a big fan of tying his shoes, and bending down to tie my shoes isn't my favorite task. (Actually, bending down isn't so bad; it's the getting back up that's a problem.) These, basically, turn your tie shoes into slip-ons.They're are a bit hard to install, though. As you insert them through the eyes, try different techniques. Gauge the degree of stretchiness the siicione has before it's breaking point. You might try using a nut pick to push one of the T-shaped nubbins through the hole, then carefully pull the rest through. With a little trial-and-error, and some practice, you'll get the hang of installing them. Once they're installed, you're home free!

works surprisingly well, WHEN they stay in the shoe's eyelets!!
A bit difficult to get through a shoe eyelet. These come in a range of lengths, which you'd expect based on a shoe's layout, and in my case, totaled 8 straps per shoe. My sneakers have 6 or 7 eyelets (depends on how one wishes to "lace" toward the ankle) so i was able to skip the next number in line and upsize one for a particularly difficult area.I was pleasantly surprised to find that the shoes stay on my feet, even allowing me to climb up/down a ladder, as well as perform some yard work on slopes, which of course places focused pressure on my shoe/lacing system. I did not expect to find this would work out this way, so that's a tick in the "good" column. On the "not good" column, i've found the most glaring issue is with getting the shoe's tongue pulled away far enough from the shoe opening to allow my foot entry, or to remove my foot from the shoe.Simply, gripping and pulling that tongue away also, about 80% of the time, removes with it the strap that's closest to the shoe's opening. While that probably ought have been expected, i think the shortcoming could be remedied by using a different, more rigid material at the ends of the strap, where the strap gets poked through the shoe's eyelet.Without the materials/hardware necessary to cobble new straps, i'd like to see this idea with the same, stretchy silicone flat portion, but with metal or hard plastic "T" caps on each end. Of course, then the cross of the "T" would need to pivot, so that would likely require a center pin on which that cross portion COULD pivot...but the idea being this could/should/would(?) allow for both easier threading of an eyelet as well as providing enough structural support that, when the flat straps are flexed and strained against the eyelet, the strap wouldn't just flex and pull right through the eyelet.IDK what are the properties of silicone in general, or specific to this product's construction, but it would seem that this material softens, or lessens in rigidity, with use. Firm up those ends and, IMO, these would go from a clever idea to one that works impressively well!

We are loving these!
I had bought a very similar item from another seller for close to $10. When I stumbled upon this for a better price I decided to add them to more of our shoes. From this listing I bought a child's black set, but from the same seller I bought a 4 pack adult set. We now have lots of these handy "no tie shoelaces". Here are see brief thoughts:-Installation: This is pretty much the only downside to this product. It is a, pain to get these actually in the shoes. So you poke the first little nub through the hole, but then it requires pulling really hard on that little end to get the bigger piece through. I get that it's necessary to have a larger anchor on the inside of the hole so they don't come back out easily, but this whole process is tedious and makes my fingers hurt. Some pliers might make it easier, but I was a little worried about damaging the silicone.-Function: These are excellent for tie shoes. I initially bought them because I try to get a workout in on my 30 minute break. Every minute I can shave off of changing is good. Then once I realized how much I love them I decided to buy them for my son's shoes that I stopped putting on him due up the inconvenience of tying them. Now I've converted 4 shoes to these. They aren't so flexible that my shoes slip off or that I don't feel support.-Appearance: I think these actually look better than normal shoe laces. They are much cleaner and minimal looking. One thing to note is most people who get them in and then try to take them out seem to have problems. I don't know if I would even try. Make sure to determine which sizes you want before you start. Then I save all the extras I don't use and was able to have enough for another pair of shoes (most shoes I have don't use all the laces).

Good quality to replace regular laces
I bought these to go in a pair of shoes that I had to untie to take off since I hate tying my shoes. Be aware that these are really meant to go in shoes with a metal eyelet for the laces. I tried putting them in a pair without the eyelet and they just didn't want to go through. There is a trial and error on which lengths to use for each person based on comfort. I put the larger ones in because I don't like tight shoes, but had to shift them down to smaller sizes. I found what was comfortable for me and I love the ease of slipping my shoes on and off without having to tie and untie them.
