Q: What if I have two left feet? will these work? my feet hurt a lot when i try to dance.

Even guys with two left feet come out on top if the girl is sweet, if by chance their cheeks should meet while dancing... meaning that the best things happen while you dance.

About 1/8 inch in except the heel is about 1/4 inch. Very comfortable. Better than Dr. Scholes

Q: will this help with easing pain from high heels?

The pain you have is metatarsalgia. It requires better padding across the metatarsals or ball area of your feet so a different insole/insert is needed. BUT, these will give some relief and great arch support. Best insole deal there is at this price.

Q: How good will they be in steel toe shoes I am on my feet 10 hours a day

I loved the insoles they are very comfortable and provide a lot of cushion. I imagine they will be very helpful while on your feet however may not last as long. I would not recommend purchasing them if you cannot remove the insoles of the shoes you are wanting to use them in.
