Nice scrubber! Very good quality and does the job!

We live in an area with very sandy soil. I use this every day to clean my shoes at the back door to keep from bringing in a lot of dirt on my shoes. These really clean the bottom and sides of shoes well. You do need to remember to clean the back of your heel though, since there is no brush that covers that area. I don't see how they could engineer one on this device either, so just remember to turn you foot sideways and clean that area off too. I was amazed at the amount of dirt this collected in one day, considering that we have not had any rain in over a week. The plate below the brushes was covered with about 1/16th of an inch of sand or more in one day! Great product, well worth the money. Built sturdy and should last. 3/7/20 Update Still working great. Have not had to replace the brushes yet. They show only minimal wear. I only wish I could train my dogs to use it!

Living on a suburban ranch in southern Arizona means not a lot of mud, but an awful lot of dust, stones and horse poop stuck to our boots. This is the best boot scraper I have owned. It is heavy enough that it stays put when the wind blows, you can stand on the "wings" so it doesn't move while scraping your boots, and the bristles don't shed like the last (cheaper) boot scraper I bought. The only reason for 4 versus 5 stars is in the looks department. It is better looking than most, but several years ago I saw a really beautiful wrought iron boot scraper at someone's house. I wanted one like that, but after searching high and low I with no luck, I decided that this was next best. It works well for our purposes, although as I said we don't get much of a chance to test it on mud.

I picked the Scrusher because I thought it was better looking then the competing products. It comes with two heavy duty stainless, self-tapping screws and installed in a few minutes with a powered screw gun. You will want to press firmly down on the screws with screw gun and use low speed to torque them down otherwise you may risk spinning the heads when driving the fat screws into pressure treated deck. The phillips screw heads are pretty deep and rugged so the powered screw gun got a good bite with enough pressure. You will not want to tackle this job if you don't have a powered device to drive screws because it would dramatically increase the install time and most likely give you carpal tunnel. I positioned at angle to left of door to inside of house so you could hold the storm door handle while "scrushing" off mud, snow, etc... It feels solid and the firm brushes clean the bottoms and sides of your shoes in just a couple passes. Works great!

I was concerned it wouldn't stay in place while using it. No complaints here. Just a simple tool that works as advertised.

The Scrusher works great. It cleans the bottom and sides of my shoes easily so I'm not tracking mud and debris inside. I especially like the design where I can stand on the heavy steel plate to keep the brush from moving while scrubbing my shoes through the brushes. I use the Scrusher several times a day after walking my Chocolate Labrador Retriever through the mud and water soaked woods and the more I use it the more I like it. I plan to buy another one or two to put at other entrances and in my workshop area. It's heavy duty construction will provide many years of use for me.

Had to mount on a board to hold in place with other foot to use it but it does a great job once you learn how to use it! But it must be fixed to something in order to hold it in place for use!
