USB Universal Smart Battery Charger for 3.2V LiFePO4 Batteries with 8 Pieces 3.2V LiFePo4 14430 4/5 AA (14 x 43mm) 400mAh Rechargeable Battery

I bought this after reading a battery review written by another reviewer who just happen to mention this charger by name. Just bought it on a hunch but it d out to be a great buy. I've had and used it daily for well over a year now and so far so good. The charge and discharge feature is a plus. Very easy to use.

I ordered this Hyper PS USB charger with 8 batteries. I received the 4 batteries package. Requested an exchange, and the 2nd package also had only 4 batteries. There are 2 listings for this product, one with 8 batteries and one with 4 batteries. Not sure why the Amazon warehouse person keeps sending the wrong package. The 3.2V batteries are decent, hold their charges, and they charge quickly. The charger itself feels fairly cheap, but the indicator lights for each charging slot are appreciated; red when charging, green when batteries are charged. A green indicator light separate from the charging slots show if the charger is plugged in or not. Disappointed that I keep receiving the 4 battery charger instead of the 8 battery package that I ordered.

There are no instructions included and no USB cable. I connected a USB cable I had and inserted 2 of the batteries that came with the charger and after a few seconds, the red lights started flashing. I inserted 2 older batteries that I had and got the same result. I left the batteries in the unit for about 30 minutes and started detecting an electrical smell coming from the unit that usually accompanies something that was overheating. I disconnected it immediately and began to search for instructions online and all I could find was a statement that "instructions were not needed." There was mention of a red light and a green light (never saw it) but no mention of any flashing red light. Guess the manufacturer doesn't think the customers need to know what any of these lights are indicating!!!

this great little battery charger saved my special sized rechargeable batteries in my solar malibu lights, and it came with 4 batteries in the special size, it was able to recharge all the old ones and my lights are all back in working order.

Works great to recharge the batteries in our solar garden lights now that many are in the shade

I did buy these batteries in 2021. But hadn't had a chance to use them till now. So they remained new and in package till now. Took them out charged them to use. Do not hold any charge. At all. Charger then says the fully charge. They last 10 seconds. Now granted it sat new for 2 years before use. But obviously these where bad to start and a waste. Glad I least got battery charger out of it. Or would of been a waste.

Does not charge the batteries at all! Unit seems to be a waste of money.
