Phenomenal rod for price point. I would’ve bought even if it were 200$ to be honest
The rod held up very good jigging for lingcod and rockfish in the California west coast. It comes with an alps reel seat it’s convenient to lock in your reels tight. A lot of jigging rods need reel clamps so the reel seat is convenient with that being an alps. The rod also has very good flex to make fishing a lot more fun, but enough back bone to bring that fish up easily from 300 feet. All in all great rod !
