Nutramax Dasuquin with MSM Chewables, Large Dog, 150 Count

Hands down the best supplement I've used for my large breed Rottweilers' joint health. I've been using Nutramax Dasuquin with MSM Chewables for over a decade, and it consistently supports their overall wellness. The vet-recommended formula containing glucosamine seems effective, and my dogs seem more comfortable and active since I started giving it to them regularly. The 150-count bottle makes it easy to keep up with their daily routine without hassle.

This is a good quality supplement for your dog that suffers from joint pain associated with arthritis. I highly recommend. When I adopted my dog he already had moderate arthritis. This did not eliminate his pain. He still needs pain medication. However, I am hoping it will help slow down further deterioration and hopefully it is helping with some of the pain with his joints. It's is a hard pressed chewable that can be crushed and disolved if needed. I personally crush it, then mix it with a little water. Then I mix that with his kibble. He won't take it by itself. He is too picky.

It works great for my dog that has a hurt knee. My Dane body slammed my Rottweiler and sat on her leg. With a brace and this stuff, she is walking fairly well again after 6 weeks. This one work much better that the regular one. I highly recommend it.

I am a huge fan of Nutramax Dasuquin! I'm also a bargain hunter and penny pincher, so I dislike the pricetag, but it's worth every penny you spend. My vet recommended this product for my Choclate Lab when we had to have one of her front legs amputated after an accident. We found her as a stray, but after spending so much money on her surgery, I fell in love and kept her. With that in mind, I also have two other large breed dogs; a 7 year old Sheppard mix and a 3 year old Great Dane/ Hound mix. After my 5 year old Lab became a Tri-Pod, I was concerned about Arthritis creeping up and wanted to do everything I could to help her remain comfortable for as long as possible. That is when this product came into play. She hasn’t missed a beat and I’ve had praise report after praise report from the vet about her bones and joints. It’s now been almost three years since her surgery and we are still seeing no signs of slowing down. My 7 year old Sheppard had started showing his age a year or so ago by getting up a little slower and it seemed his legs were giving him a hard time when he laid down too long. I started giving him the Dasuquin and a month or so into it, it’s as if he’s reverted back to a few years ago. He by no means acts like a puppy again, but you can tell that he gets around with more ease. My thought with this Vitamin is more preventative than reactive. I didn’t want to wait until my dogs were in so much pain, so I’ve been giving it to the young along with Fish Oil and have received good news after good news from our vet as to their health. I don’t claim this to be a Miracle working tablet, but I think it’s the best out there right now and if you are serious about helping your pets receive relief from joint pain and issues, this is the way to go. I’m 3+ years now using this product and I’m just as impressed as I was the first month I noticed a difference. IF you are on the fence about it—give it a try. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

This is a great supplement to add to your dogs diet if needed. It has terrific value for the money as well. The downside was my dog did not like eating these and had to be enticed with peanut butter on them to get her to eat them. The chewables are more expensive but are definitely worth the extra money.

I have used this product before on my elderly cat who had chronic cystitis and struvites in his kidneys all his life. Each year he would get infections but the last 3 years of his 16 years he had no infections or blood in his urine at all! He also had greater mobility! Now our 12 year old German Shepherd has shown signs of arthritis and we started him on these chewable tablets and he is showing a lot of improvements! I have checked on other popular brands of similar products and none have the same ingredients as this product and I feel that these extra natural ingredients make all the difference in our elderly pets health! OurVet recommended these tablets and also recommended we get them here because the Vet sells them for a price we can not afford! We were told to be sure and get the kind with the MSM as well. We just can not get over how this product has improved the lives of two of our beloved pets and we will continue to use this for our other 2pets that are approaching their golden years! The dog eats them like treats so we have no problems getting him to take them! The cat had the sprinkle capsules that I would put in one teaspoon of canned food and he would eat it, then I would feed him the rest of his food. Also I was concerned about buying these on here because they are sold strictly in Vets offices, so I contacted the company that manufactures them. I asked about the fact that this product can only be purchased from a Vet. I was told that was true but some Vets choose to sell them on-line, and if I am concerned I should call the manufacturer, give then the product number that is on the bottle or the box and they can tell you exactly where it came from and who sold it to whom! I know the price is still not the cheapest on line but it is cheaper than a Vets office so I am confident in buying it here and I feel this is a fantastic product for the health of my pets and since it lasts a long time I feel it's not really that much to spend!

This stuff works. My only complaint is that i now have a ten-year-old, 60-pound yellow dog that thinks she’s three again!! But all in all, it could be worse. The energy is back. The zoomies are back. The jumping up on the bed is back. All of it. Glad our vet recommended it-i had no idea how much she was hurting.

These make all the difference in reducing joint stiffness for my 9 year old 70 pound German shepherd. Worth every penny, even with the double dose that's required at the start.

These are a life saver for anyone with a dog who is older or who has suffered a CCL tear. Awesome product!

Despite the product title these are for LARGE dogs, which is actually what the "technical details" section says. Don't worry if you make the same mistake I did as you CAN get a refund, despite what it says it you try to process a Return. If you go to the Support chat, it will process a Refund, but you don't need to Return the item... so, do what I did and donate it to my local dog rescue!

Highly recommended product. My 11.5 year old Golden Retreiver diagnosed with Arthritis is remarkably better. He was having trouble getting up and would often fall down while on a walk. He would often groan in pain and became disinterested in most things. But now, he is back to his old self (one needs to remember he is still a senior dog). He gets up easily and has started enjoying his walks again. He is galloping after his ball again and it has been a while since I have heard him groan. Took 2-3 weeks for the initial result and we continued to see gradual improvement beyond that. It has now been 4 months and the results are marvelous. My dog weighs a little over 30 kg and we give him 3 tablets daily, one each in the morning, afternoon and night.

Love this product it seriously has saved my 11 year old black lab darling angel :) this order I received though was for the small to medium dogs. I'll write to them and hopefully they will correct the problem.
