Love it!!
I see a lot of complaints about the ads or whatever else bothers folks, but I love this magazine and it never fails to hold my interest. The cost isn't as cheap as other magazines, but neither is the quality of the information, articles and the magnificent photos. I don't have to wonder how accurate their information is. Well worth it!!

My father was a subscriber to NG in the 1930's -
Had to let subscription lapse - Print too small for these 83 yr old eyes - At one time, used to enjoy NG tremendously - PJH!

One of the most wonderful magazines in existence
This magazine has evolved brilliantly over the years. It’s beautifully written & startlingly informative. And what spectacular photographs!! I find the articles mesmerizing. I am a subscriber but bought two special copies in an airport & read them cover to cover on my flight without a second of boredom. In my opinion, Nat. Geo. Is essential for any home in which there are children. It’s a glowing masterpiece!

Enjoy many stunning full page advertisements!
Fantastic magazine, each issue has several really fascinating articles and i enjoy disconnecting from screens for a bit and enjoying a nice magazine like when I was a kid. But geez natgeo, every other page is an advertisement, and even the articles have ads written in, kinda lame when you’re paying close to $50 for a subscription just to view advertisements. However the content is still pretty decent, not as scientific or detailed as it once was but the photographers and writers generate great content, and you’ll still learn.

Great as per usual, but PDF format? They sure have a reason for that.
I have always read the paper version of the National Geographic Magazine and yes it's true that you read more of the electronic version. Tap here, tap there. Great reading. 4 stars because the format is not good. If you like highlighting important bits, forget it but this is also true about some other subscription I have, that are not in PDF. If you need to check meaning, forget it. Cannot access the dictionary. If you don't have a 20/20 vision and you get irritated when you have to zoom in/out, to access smaller chunks of text, forget it. But then, I have not forgotten it (yet).

Frustrating!
I tried this subscriptio because I wanted to be able to read NGM on my Kindle, hainv g found the journal difficult to access on my tablet. However, I found that I could not link my existing subscription to NGM (I have subscribed on and off for some years now) to my Kindle subscrption; although this seems to be possible on a Kindle Fire, it's not possible on other platforms. NGM weren't very helpful either: one adviser told me that NGM was available on Kindle, another tat it was not. So in the end I cancelled, not wanting to have two subscrptions running simultaneously! Had I been able to link the subscription, this would have been a five-star review...
