The hooks are very lightweight, but durable. The handle is soft and sits comfortably in my hand, which makes it easy to use while stitching. And the hook itself allows for the yarn to slide smoothly, even when doing small tight stitching. I also love that hook sizes are on the handle both printed and embossed! The nippers that came in the set are nice and sharp too. Plus, they fit comfortably in my hand and allow a nice smooth, quick snip when needed. Although, the cover for the blades does need to be a bit more snug. I find it does like to fall off a bit easily when opening the case to get them out.I love the case design. It is fashionable, durable and I love how it allows you to carry all you necessary tools and not just hooks! Plus, when I am doing projects on the go, the outside zipper pocket allows me to throw my ID, CC and some cash it. Then I can toss in it my crochet bag and go!

I opened it and was so pleasantly surprised! it's really nice and an incredible deal for the money. I loved the color and that it isn't too big but not too small, it is the perfect size. It's like a wallet almost. I love that the snips scissors are actually sharp and cut the yarn, they are so well done! I also love that it has my 4 top necessities in there! Scissors/snips, stitch markers, yarn needles and a measuring tape!. The hooks are a bit longer than the ones I had, comes in both US sizes (engraved on each hook) and in mm. Hooks are smooth and yarn slides easily without getting cought up. Very VERY happy with my purchase.

This is a great set for the price. I have been buying all of my knitting and crochet stuff on amazon for a while because the stuff in the stores is so over priced. This set is no exception. Ok this is a wonderful set with all the tools you need for crochet. The case is beautiful, the hooks are generic like other hooks in this price range. The markings are engraved as well as stamped on the handles. The hooks are secure in their handles. There were no flaws in my set. The case zippers are a bit cheap but work great after applying a little wax.

Arrived quickly. The hooks are very nice. I am also liking the little tape measure and the stitch markers. This will be a handy set to carry with me. Everything you need (except the yarn). I am happy with the case. It seems well made and small enough to take along, yet it holds everything.

Really nice set! I love all it comes with. The hooks are really nice to use and comfortable to hold. The scissors are really easy to use too! And the fact it all comes in a really cute case makes it even better!

The hooks, scissors, and darning needles work amazingly and I have no issues with them, but the issues with the stitch markers and measuring tape is what docked the rating from 5 to 3 stars. I recommend this set for people who care more about the ergonomic hooks, and wouldn't mind getting useful darning needles and scissors, but if you're looking forward to using the stitch markers and measuring tape, you may to have invest in separate ones, or find a more efficient set. I was especially excited to finally have stitch markers, but the majority of them don't even stay locked, so it's quite a disappointment to me. I will continue to use the hooks, needles, and scissors constantly, but I will be looking for better stitch markers.(ORIGINAL) I honestly absolutely love this set! I've been crocheting since I was in middle school (I'm 21 now) but I've only used the basic aluminum hooks, as that was all my parents could afford to buy me. I had dropped crocheting in high school but with the current pandemic, what better time to pick it back up than now?With the basic aluminum hooks, my hands would cramp up while gripping the thin handles, and I would have to constantly readjust the handle because it would occasionally slip. The grips on the hooks for this set are not only comfortable, easy to hold, and don't slip, but they're beautiful! The colors are vibrant and I love that the size is engraved on one side and printed on the other.My only critical point of this review is that I wish there were 4mm, 3.5mm, 3mm, 2.5mm, and 2mm hooks in this set. It goes from 6mm, 5.5mm, 5mm, 4.5mm, but then jumps down to 3.75mm, 3.25mm, 2.75mm, and 2.25mm. It would be better to stay consistent in par with the 6mm-4.5mm. I don't understand why it skips the aforementioned sizes. The hooks themselves are great but I'm just a picky user.The stitch markers are really cute and work well. (EDIT: Some of the stitch markers are actually too short and don't stay locked in place. The slightest touch of my hand pops it back open. It is frustrating to have to pause in my crocheting to fight with the stitch markers, as they'll pop open each time I lock them back in place. Some of them are long enough to stay locked, but I've had more pop open than stay closed.) You can see I'm using one on my current project (a crop top) with the 5mm (H8) hook from the set. I do enjoy the scissors as they're sharp and can get down to the edge of the yarn but they did come a little scuffed up. It doesn't effect their performance, so it's simply a cosmetic concern. I like that the needles come in the little carrying tube and that the measuring tape has a button to pull it back in, so I don't have to use my mother's loose one anymore! (EDIT: The measuring tape was rendered useless after just the first try. The button couldn't even pull the tape back into its case, and it got stuck. It just hung out so I had to fiddle with it to push it back in. I tested it a second time, and the tape was now stiff as I pulled on it, and had even more trouble being pulled back in. Now it just sits in the zippered pocket it came in and I haven't bothered with it since. I went back to using my previous measuring tape.)

Upon opening my package, I immediately realized I’d gotten more than I realized and was very happy about it. This kit/set is perfect for any project on the go. I’m not usually one to buy an all inclusive set, but these individual pieces are all perfect. Not too inexpensively made either. I especially love the little “scissors”.Usually when using a new hook for the first time there is a learning curve, there pretty much wasn’t one with these hooks. I know, I was pleasantly surprised too. I’ve been whizzing along ever since. :D
