Great Product!
Just ordered my second! Initial order was SIX YEARS AGO! These clippers lasted that long, and, truth be told, I didn't take care of them as I should've. So, probably would've lasted longer. Effortlessly trimmed my cocked spaniel with "down" type of fur on legs. The vibration is minimal. I take them out and he comes and sits with his back to me, ready for his hair cut! These have saved me SO MUCH MONEY not having to go to the groomer! I would highly recommend!

Love these clippers! Great price and function really well!
Let me count the ways in which I love this set of clippers! My husband and I treat our dog like a spoiled little baby, and therefore we don't particularly like using professional groomers. We don't like the idea of dropping him off at the groomer's for the day, and we know he would be super anxious and bark up a storm without us. We do have some mobile groomers in the area, but they have mixed reviews, and when we did use one, our dog was very anxious during his cut. So instead my husband and I decided to attempt the impossible -- purchase clippers so that we could do our own dog haircuts! I am so glad we purchased this set of clippers. Not only are they relatively cheap ($30 vs. a couple of hundred dollars like some of the other sets cost!), but they have been working perfectly for a couple of years. The set comes with a pair of scissors, which are helpful for getting some spots that can't really be clipped easily, like around the paws and around the face/eyes, and the clippers themselves come with multiple guards, for different length cuts. The blade is pretty quiet and it did a good job of not scaring our poor little guy away. While the clippers do get kind of warm eventually, I think they last a good 20 minutes before I start to feel any warmth and that's enough time for some good grooming (of course, if you need more time, you can let the device cool and start back up again after about 5 minutes). I would definitely recommend these clippers for any doggie parents who want to give their pups haircuts right at home!

Really good clippers...
We have a copper mini-golden doodle, about 18 months old, 13 lbs. and during COVID I wanted to help my shaggy girl get beautiful again. I bought these because of the price tag and brand name and they worked really well.Pros:Good selections of clip lengths. From sizes 1-4, and since we like our dog to have a bit of length we used the 4. Perfect.Easy to useClippers work well (but see cons)Good electric cord length. The noise was very low and never scared our dog.Cons:It stopped cutting after about four passes. The motor worked, just wasn’t cutting. I had to turn it off, take off the length clip, oil it, put the length clip back on, and continue. I had to do this countless times. (This could have been due to my dog’s longer hair since it’d been a while since her last grooming. When I made passes through her shorter hair later, to clean things up, I didn’t have to do that anymore.) It sounds more annoying than it was for me, but if your dog is skittish about clippers/grooming, I could see this being a hard pass.It gets VERY hot. I had to hold it around the butt of the clipper (around the cord side) to not get burned. It started getting hot after maybe 10 minutes of use, I guess. Next time I’ll wear a glove. The metal of the clippers never touched my dog, so she didn’t get burned, but it gets very, very hot.I’m considering returning them for that reason alone, but they worked well and were a good price, so still debating.

Fantastic grooming kit.
After about 8 years, the clippers we had by Wahl finally gave up. It was a cordless pro series model that never was even had the blade sharpened. For the replacement, we knew the brand was outstanding, however I didn't like the cordless model, one because over time the charge wouldn't hold, so to operate it, the unit needed to be plugged in all the time. This time around we wanted a model that was not cordless, affordable and could handle cutting the hair of our 11 year old Lhasa Apso.We ordered the item through Amazon obviously, and since we have Prime, the item arrived in two days flat, just in time for her monthly cut. With the other clippers it would take me around 1 1/2 to 2 hours depending of the length of the hair to finish. With this unit it took me one hour flat, so a 50% performance increase is awesome.Next, every single one of these clippers will vibrate, so expecting none or almost no vibration is not realistic. The unit itself where you place your hand gets warm not hot, after a solid non stop one hour use, again expected. What was completely unexpected is a blade that is NOT even warm after that same hour use, making your pet feel at ease all the time, specially around the sensitive paws, belly and inside of the ears. The unit comes with around 3-4 blade guards to change hair length, perhaps not as many as other units but more than enough for us. Everything can also be stored safely using the enclosed hard plastic case with a built in handle.Anyways, not being a pro groomer, but just the plain ol' butler to a furry Lhasa Apso makes this a perfect item that pays for itself with the first cut.I think that if you take care of the unit, and you are using it on one or two animals, it will hold up for years.** TIPS ** Clean the unit after each use, to keep the blades going for as long as the other machine did without sharpening, the only thing I did was to spray a bit of WD 40 to remove any debris and prevent oxidation. NEVER clean with water and let only to air dry, you will ruin it. Of course after using the WD 40 clean excess with a dry paper towel.

Sucks broke first stroke
It sucks. It broke the first stroke on a little dog. The blade adjuster lever snapped. I’ve been clipping dogs and horses for 40 years. Wahl is generally a good brand, but this model sucks.

High vibration in your hand.
These clippers work well except the vibration in your hand is significant
