I am brand new to Amigurumi (just finished my first project) and this is the only yarn that I have used. I found it difficult to learn on, so I don't think it's a good beginner yarn unless like me you don't mind challenges. In the end I was able to make a very cute Amigurumi piggy. The yarn is soft and very loosely twisted, which once you learn how to crochet with it, its pretty easy to use it, but could be frustrating for someone used to larger tightly woven yarn.I love the colors and have bought both sets. The yarn is small but plenty to finish a single Amigurumi with quite a bit of left over yarn. I used a 2.25mm hook, anything larger will leave visible gaps in between stitches. There are 10 indivdual strands. I love that it is cotton and the beauty colors. Perfect for patterns that call for a small hook. The pattern I used was from Amigurumi Treasures.

I really enjoy working with this yarn. It is soft and drapey, which can be difficult to get with some cotton yarns, and the colors are great. The colorset I bought is fairly heavy on cooler colors and skimpy on warmer ones, but ultimately this is a great set to get if you'd like a decent selection of colors in something larger than those 10g balls. The yarn is a bit splitty, but that's neither unusual nor particularly difficult to work with if you aren't a complete beginner. All in all, I do recommend this brand.

Beautiful colors. I use a 2.5 mm or 3 mm hook with this. It can separate when crocheting, just take your time and it's easy peasy. I bought the brights and pastel colors and I never want to be without this yarn. I mostly make plants and ornaments and amigurumi!

I ordered both sets that were available from this brand. The yarn is nicely colored and very soft to the touch. My only complaint is that of the 2 colors, one from each set, within the first 10g of each ball I ran into 2 to 3 knots. While I know knots can happen , I shouldn’t really have that many so often so soon. It really was disappointed because otherwise this cotton yarn is really lovely.

I have given up on both types of this yarn for a while, although Boho didn't seem as bad as the pastels. I am a long-time crocheter and was using it to make lots of things for a granddaughter on the way. It didn't matter what hook I used, this stuff splits and snags like crazy so you must go very sloooowwwlllyyy. The ease in snagging gave me nightmares because I could picture my daughter handwashing and creating snags easily with her wedding rings. Nothing should have to be so fussy, and you have to think twice about gifting something that will be painful to maintain. Knitting with it might be better but I would still worry about those nasty snags you can't hide. This would be great for Kumihimo working on a disk so that's where mine is headed instead of the trash.

Love the cotton yarn.. I intend to use them on punch needle projects.

Beautiful colors!! Product arrived fast. Great volume for the price.Updated:I recently purchased another set and found that one of the colors in the new set was drastically different from the previous skein. While I know there are no guarantees in matching dye lots it was odd that only one color in the set of 10 didn't match the previous set. I contacted the merchant to see if I could just purchase another skein of that particular color. While she was unable to sell the skein separately she offered to send another set. I agreed to that resolution. She was kind, generous, and offered this solution without hesitation. Her responses were always rapid. I received the replacement set within 3 days of our agreement. I am grateful for her efforts and will definitely continue to purchase products from her!!

Me agrado la textura suave. Los colores son exactos como aparecen en las fotos. Se trabaja perfecto con una aguja de crochet 3.5 mm y 2.25 mm. Ideal para tejer sueter y ropa para verano. El unico punto no a favor podria ser que, si no insertas bien la aguja o la tesion que uses es muy agustada, el hilo podria deshenebrarse, quedando pequeñas hebras sueltas en el tejido.
