Love this product for making my pork ramen casserole. Please do not stop carrying it as I cannot find it on any of my local stores

For me, eating ramen is one of life's simple pleasures, and the pork flavor is my favorite Maruchan ramen. I usually add a few other simple ingredients to it, to boost it nutritional content (egg, soybeans, shrimp, sardines, etc.). I have a theory for why the pork ramen is never available in my local mainstream markets, but I will not disclose my theory.

Good flavor, great price, still a little salty but not too bad.

It is what it is, cheap ramen for a cheap price.

Maruchan is the best name in ramen noodles and nowhere else can you eat for about 50 cents. I have two of them for a full meal. On sale, I thus was having a good filling meal for about a buck. Maruchan noodles are soft and the spice packet, mostly soy sauce, is perfect. Some tips: heat in the microwave for about 7 minutes for one or 8 minutes for two. Heat up in the black plastic composite tubs you get with most frozen food. They are a perfect fit for the ramen noodle square and even have the water fill line (if they don't, fill to the top of the noodles with water.) Important step: once wet, turn the noodle square over before cooking to have top and bottom wet. Cook, add the spice packet goodies, mix, and enjoy. And for the $5 to $10 you just saved, splurge on dinner...Best of all, these products are shelf stable, which means winter or summer, you can keep them in your desk for months, awaiting lunch time...

This is seriously the best flavor of instant ramen out there. I know what you're thinking: I ate these in college. Why would I buy them now? Well..I always ate the chicken or the beef because I didn't even know a pork flavor existed. I saw these at Walmart a couple months ago and decided to buy a couple to keep for a cheap lunch when I'm hungover. I am so glad I did. They are the most superior flavor of the Maruchen family. It doesn't taste like instant ramen: it has a delicious umami flavor that can be enhanced with fresh add-ons, like herbs or garlic. It has more complexity than beef or chicken. Since I do not live near a Walmart supercenter, I was so happy to find these on Amazon at a reasonable price. Now I won't run out for a while!I know, I know.. instant ramen?! REALLY? But yes. You probably haven't had the pleasure of trying the pork flavor and you're really missing out. It's a great comfort food once in a while ;)
