This item really gave me a better option as opposed to the camera being battery operated. I know that battery power works when the power is out but buying expensive batteries that don’t last long got old to me. Therefore this offered me the better option. I’m very pleased!

I have used these for my Arlo cameras for 5 or 6 years and they have always worked fine.

The media could not be loaded. The "battery" pack is a very snug fit, but it will fit without much trouble. Taking it out might be a bit more challenging but nothing to stress over.Power adaptor cable is a good....10ft cable? I didn't officially measure it but it's a good length.My main concern is the small, flat, power strip/tape that extends out of the battery pack. It's quite thin so I hope extra some tugging won't damage it.But far so good! Once I plugged things in, I saw the blue power indicator light activate before I even closed the battery flap. Sorry I couldn't show that on the video, I can only do so much with 1 hand.

What a wonderful product! We were changing batteries every few days. No more. I love this , now I can leave home and still check to see that things are secure. Be careful when closing the battery door as it will pinch the wire and cause you to purchase another one.

The trash is exactly where this went. I had bought two of these to save from having to constantly change batteries for my Arlo cameras. The item looked simple enough to install without instructions. After all, you just insert the battery pack/adapter into the battery compartment, right? You kinda have to use a bit of force to get it in. After putting it in, I tried plugging it in. No power. Okay, so maybe I oriented the adapter incorrectly. I’ll remove it and just try and reposition it. Guess what? Instant regret!! Snug does not even begin to describe how stuck that thing was. I tried tugging at the wire to hopefully loosen it. I used screwdrivers to try to pry it out. There was no way to reasonably get it back out without destroying either my Arlo or the adapter. This was as an easy decision as to which would take the destruction. It took me a good 30 minutes of tugging, gripping with pliers, cutting, and other tactics to get it back out. Luckily with minimal damage to my Arlo. Pictured is the final product of the damage to the adapter. Recommendation if you bought this and it gets stuck: use a power drill to make holes through the center and one of the “battery” slots then use needle nose pliers to yank it back out. Best recommendation: STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRASH PRODUCT!! You’ve been warned. The 2nd item I bought of this is going straight back for a return and refund. I’d return the 1st one if weren't destroyed.

Item is pretty self explanatory... It's definitely idiot proof plug and play power adapter and great alternative to the rechargeable batteries. My only gripe is mines does not indicate 100% battery level as indicated. When first installed, my battery level although it is a plug in adapter registered at 88% each week, it seems to drop a percent and now it's registering at 85% from the previous 86%. Not sure if this even matters as it's a plug in non-battery device, but if you have OCD like I do sometimes, it can bother you haha. Other than that, I'm going to rate it a 3/5 because of the battery level. I'm hoping that with the drop in percentage that function will not decline as well. Guess time will tell...

We went through a lot of different batteries and found waiting to recharge batteries was a pain. Batteries in general just don't last long in these cameras. These power adapters work perfect, and no more need to keep climbing a ladder and adjusting the cameras.
