Duralactin Canine, 180 Vanilla Chewables

My dog is approx. 12 years old and was having a difficult time some days with walking. I have noticed since I've been giving the Duralactin pills to her she has a lot of peep in her step. I cut them in half to give her the whole 2 times a day. They have a nice vanilla smell to them so make sure they are out of reach of children. They are also soft enough to crush if you need to. My dog takes them with no problem. My sisters dog has to have them hidden in his food. My friends dog has to have them crushed and hidden in her food. I am very pleased with the results they have had with my dog and others I know that use them now and past years.

Duralactin was recommended to me by our veternarian for our dog Dante who has some hip arthritis, and an old knee injury. He is 5 years old, weighs about 70lb, is strong and muscular and has always been active. Dante had trouble getting comfortable when sitting and lying down, hobbled when he walked, and could no longer jump into the car or onto the bed. He was also having trouble going up and down steps and could hardly even get on and off the couch. We had been giving Dante a glucosamine supplement which was had helped but he was still having some discomfort and mobility problems. We started giving him the Duralactin in addition to the glucosamine and within a week we noticed a definite improvement. After about a month we could tell that Dante felt so much better. He can now walk and run more comfortably without limping and can sleep through the night. I was overjoyed when he jumped right into the car one day and then a couple of weeks later onto our bed! I also like that the ingredient in this product is a milk protein, making it safe to use long-term for chronic conditions. Dante also likes the taste of the tablets, he's pretty picky so I was a little worried, but it's easy to give, he thinks he's getting a treat. I am so glad that we tried Duralactin, it has made a difference in the quality of life for Dante!

My dog is a mix of both small/medium sized breeds and large. He was a rescue so his age is not for certain, but I believe he is about 9 years old. His body has slowed down, but mentally he still acts like a puppy. Unfortunately his body could not keep up and my dog was having mobility issues. Since I have begun using Duralactin, he is a new dog physically. I only give him half the recommended dosage and I have already seen great improvement. All aches and pains appear to be gone and I could not be more pleased - great product.

I have an elderly greyhound with a disk problem in his neck. I give him one of these a day, and when he is having a flare up of pain, 2 a day. Along with his tramadol, this knocks him back to normal in a few days as opposed to a week or more with out it. I do believe that these help him. He also likes them, to him they are a treat :)

THIS IS A NATURAL SUPPLEMENT FOR DOGS WHO ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH ARTHRITIS. IT HAS A VANILLA FLAVOR AND SOME DOGS LOVE THAT TASTE. MY DOGS NEEDS IT CRUSHED UP AND MIXED WITH PEANUT BUTTER. I DO THINK IT HELPS HIM WALK AND I LIKE THE FACT THAT IT IS NATURAL.

I had a friend recomend this product to me. Her vet gave it to herfor her dog. He became more active after recovering from a broken ankle.My dog had a knee operation Dec. 2010 and was still limping andnot moving around alot by Aug. 2011. Within a month of giving her thissupplement she was running and playing again. I can't say enough about how this product has helped.

This is an amazing supplement. Our 6 year old labrador was having major hip issues every morning and evening. Since he's been on duralactin, he has seemed to experience less pain, more joint flexibility, and can now move as he did years ago. As I get older, I'm thinking of taking this myself. I just hope I don't start barking.A+ stuff really

My dog has been on this product about 2 weeks he seems better with regard to his arthritis, though still seems to be having problems at night, so I have seen a improvement but not a cure yet. Perhaps another week of this product, who knows the Co. says 10 to 14 days, and were at about the 14 day mark. It seems worth the investment as he seems better but if you don't have a situation where he can be his old self you have to move on to other things anyway, so at the moment i rate it above average but not a 5 yet.
