This product works fine and was fairly easy to install. However, it is quite large. Much larger than it appears. Overall, no "real" issues though.

Very easy to install on the water bottles and use to fill refrigerator pitchers.

Pump I received appears to be used. Seems to work ok but it’s not right to pay for a new product and receive a used one. I have pictures but refuse to give this platform full access to my photos and camera which apparently is a requirement.

I purchased this item to use during a potential power outage. It works great.

This is our second Doplhin pump. The first one lasted over a decade, and is still working but got moldy (probably fault maintenance). The new Dolphin pump pumps slower because it intakes more air, and I don't like it but understand the reason. But big downer was the plastic taste and smell. It was awful even after washing the pump once with running vinegar solution through before using it for the first time. After the fist five gallon bottle still no improvement on smell and tasted. I took the pump apart and soaked all parts for an hour in very hot tap water with generous vinegar. Then I ran about two gallons of hot tap water with about a half quart of vinegar through the pump. Then another couple of gallons of hot water with a cup of baking soda and then I rinsed the pump with regular water. After all this I could still smell the plastic on the pump, but the spring water I ran thought the pump is now tasting fresh and clean as it should. When taking apart the pump I notice small plastic particles in the pump and of course I tried to rinse them out as much as possible, but have no idea who to get the ones in the air-mechanism cup with the spring that pushes the air, since that seems to be sealed. Regardless, I think they should be more careful in manufacturing to remove the plastic dust. This is for drinking water. Nobody likes do dring plastic dust. So in review" it is a great mechanism and solid pump but I am not so sure about the plastic. At least it's BPA-free. But still very suspicious of the material and don't want to ingest it.

After reading all the reviews of the motorized versions, I figured why deal with the hassle. I've had this for a few weeks and it's pretty simple. My one concern at first was the possibility of it having a siphoning effect where water would pour out overnight and cause a mess. So far haven't had that problem, plus the spigot plug gives an extra sense of security. Very easy to use. Very easy to control how much water is dispensed. Great solution to dramatically reducing single-use plastic bottles.

So I will say that I do wish that the extensions would perfectly fit a 5 gallon while letting it touch the bottom, so that you can actually use all of the water.However, what I did to resolve this was I cut the top of the bottom extension (I cut the part that attaches to the second piece) little by little until the tubes touched the bottom of the 5 gallon.Because it needs to fit airtight in order to suck up the water, it has to be cut. I was able to do this with some really sharp scissors. And so for that, I am leaving 5 stars because a good product deserves good reviews… but I hope this feedback encourages that small improvement. Thanks so much!

Our manual water pump worked for decades, but finally failed. After reading reviews for different pumps, I purchased this one because it had less negative comments. The pump arrived promptly with all the components pictured. Getting a good seal with this pump proved to be finicky and without one, the pump operates poorly—lots of pumping, the pump wheezing and hissing, and not much water coming out of the spout. Just get the seal right and the pump functions fine.The pump's rubber seal has a slight odour to it, but is not as objectionable as some reviews have made it. The spout and the siphon pipe assemble by a friction fit. There have been no issues with the spout coming off when pumping or with the bottom siphon pipe dropping off in the the water bottle.The pump appears to be of reasonable quality and it functions well enough, aside from the finicky fit.***Just an update after a week's use. The pump takes a lot more effort that the one I had previously. Care is required when operating the pump; otherwise the pumping bulb will catch in the housing. The pump also imparts a slight plastic taste to the water, which will hopefully disappear over time. If the previous brand of pump that I had rated five stars, then I would rate this one a three.

Once you pump the water required, there are no drips! Fantastic! Worth the money!
