They work, but not the best solution for top quilting
When I started quilting again, after many years of taking a break from quilting, I knew I would need quilt clips if I'm going to do my own top quilting. I found these and decided to give them a shot. After trying several times to use them on my first project I eventually gave up and just used pins to hold my quilt rolled. Not wanting to be a writer and bit provide a fair shit I decided to try them again on the second quilt. Maybe they worked better, or maybe I was just getting used to them. I used them a bit but, once again, stopped.Quilt #3 is currently in process and I'm using them a little more, especially when working on the center of the quilt, but am probably familiar with their pitfalls now so can quirk around them more'sPositives: Hold the quilt rolled in a sausage shape in the opening of the machine so I can reach the inside of the quilt; Two sizes offer flexibility in how much material I can roll upNegatives: They get stuck on the edge of my sewing table attachment when the quilt feeds through as sewing, so I experience binding if not hyper aware of where the clips are as I'm sewing; they are round and not flexible, so if feeding my quilt through and I'm at the clip my right arm jams between the clip and the top of the opening; If they catch on the edge of the sewing table attachment they can sometimes get pushed off the quilt and even fly across the room; The material is hard but somewhat flexible and sometimes I worry they will snap when trying to get them on a large roll of material that's the max size to fit in the clip (they haven't snapped but it feels like they are going to)

Doesn't hold
I used while quilting a twin sized quilt on a mid-arm machine. The large was too large and kept unrolling while the small kept moving around on the quilt roll. I gave up and just used pins. Waste of money.

The seller send them right away and they were in great condition, my review is for the use of ...
I have only used these for a king size quilt so far, and they did work. However, I read it could tear the quilt so I was very careful in removing and still one of them tore out some of the quilt stitching and I had to go back and redo that section. The seller send them right away and they were in great condition, my review is for the use of the product. I would use it again because they did the trick, but I might wrap a thin cloth around the teeth before using it again.

Get two sets
I love these so I bought a second set to make it easier to juggle larger quilts. It comes with two small and two large jaws per pack and I find that using just two jaws at a time isn't enough and either the small fits or the large fits but not both at the same time, thus two sets are needed.

Good deal
Very useful, however, they don't necessarily solve the problem of machine quilting on a home sewing machine. With these clips on you do get two very long rolls of fabric to put under the needle, however, moving side to side is very difficult. These clips are sturdy and flexible, and I do like them. With all my quilting components, I'm sure they will get more useful as I become accustomed to using them.

Best I've found
I've tried several different types of quilting clips over the years but these are definitely the most satisfactory. Granted I have not used them on anything larger than a lap/twin-sized quilt but then again my hatred of machine-quilting larger (queen and up) quilts is such that I have decided to never do it again if I can pay someone else to do it--or until my DH buys me a long arm, ha ha. Anyway, these clips grip the quilt quite firmly and stay on. I've not had any issues with them snagging or tearing my fabric.

Miffed
I have used this product for many years. I do all of my own quilting on a domestic machine. They work great, hold fabric great, very flexible. I gave it 3 stars because they only put 4 rings in a package. Last time I purchased this product, there were 7!
