Works great if you do your research!
This is a great amp and fits my needs perfectly. I read some reviews and watched some video reviews and quickly learned to turn the input selector dial to mp3. There is some confusion about if this is a stereo amp. It is and it isn't. The six channels all put out the same mono signal. It sounds great, but it is definitely NOT stereo sound. The inputs accept left and right channels but combine them into a mono output to the speakers. I assume, but did not test, the output rca ports pass off a stereo signal. I prefer a mono output as I'm using this in a Hair Salon to distribute the music evenly around a large 2 room area. As I can control the volume on each channel, I can set a custom volume for each area. The build quality is about or above what I expect at this price point. As for being "stereo", think about it. If you have 6 channels and each one puts out a separate left and right channel, well folks, you have a 12 channel amp. Plus, how would you balance those, as there is no "balance" control. And that's because....there is NO STEREO to balance. This unit seems to be designed for PA applications and broad background music installments. Home theatre?...this is not your guy! Again, the sound is full, rich, and ample power to fill a 1000 sq. ft easily (depending in the sensitivity of your speakers). I'm using 6 Micca 8" 2-way. I did add a compact subwoofer with its own mini amp to round out the bass. I like a lot of boom, even at lower volumes.

Great bargain for 6-zone, 12-channel whole home amplifier!!!!
I read the reviews for this product before I ultimately decided to purchase it despite some negative reviews. I don't normally write reviews but in this case I felt it was due. I respect all the other reviews written but in my case I have 6 rooms/zones with 2 ceiling speakers each (12-channels). My previous 6-zone, 12-channel amplifier blew up so to find this one at this price point was too good to pass on assuming it worked as advertised. Again in my case this thing worked like a champ. All the speaker wires from all 6 zones runs to my basement and then back up to the next level family room but they are all larger gauge wires which wouldn't fit well in the speaker connections of this unit but that was easily resolved by stripping back the sheathing on those wires and splicing thinner gauge speaker wires to each one. Worked perfectly. The FM tuner in this thing automatically scans and programs all stations found. The Bluetooth was easy to pair with my Samsung tablet which runs my SiriusXM and wirelessly streamed it to all zones without issue. The final piece I use is the USB port which again works great. I plugged in my 64GB USB thumb drive (you can only use thumb drives) and it instantly started playing the MP3s on it. Keep in mind this unit will not recognize any USB beyond USB 2.0. Compared to my old whole home amplifier setup (which ran thru my digital receiver's zone 2) I get better sound and fewer speaker issues thus far with this stand alone amplifier. There was no need to connect it to my home theater system with the FM Tuner, Bluetooth and USB all on board. As far as I'm concerned if you are looking for a great 6-zone, 12-channel amplifier at a fair price this is it.

Feature rich, Power to spare.
I am a music producer and was looking for a way to reference music through a home stereo system to determine how well it was mixed. This system allows me to connect several pairs of passive speakers that would allow me to see what the music would sound like in a client's home or on a radio station. I can use the independent volume controls to easily switch between whatever speakers I have connected to determine if the music is articulating correctly. But that's just one use I have for this unit. I can also use it as a multi-zone system for the house. I can connect speakers in each room and then select what room I want to hear music in. So I may buy another so I don't have to move it from the studio so much. Overall, this system has great sound, the only issue I have is with the remote. It would be nice to have control of each channel's volume. Other than that, this is a great unit for how I am using it. I understand that it also has mic inputs for karaoke and blue tooth which just speaks to its many capabilities. And though it can be used in a home theatre, the channels are only configured left-right plus sub. So you won't get 5 or 6.1 surround. However. I tried this system in a home theatre setup with some Polk audio 5.1 speakers and the sound filled the room nicely. In my opinion, this system is best for multi-channel applications to control multiple speakers. In a retail store or other business for multi-zone function to page people or put on presentations. I love it. it's a great unit. It would be perfect if the remote was more capable of controlling all the features it has.

This might be the worst purchase I ever made from Amazon!
In short, I am an audiophile. I purchased this unit to run my zone 3 in my backyard and basement pool room. I was excited when I first found and ordered the unit. However, when it arrived and I got it hooked up, I was DEEPLY disappointed! I am a tech professional. I can figure things out easily in most cases. however, this unit was a bit difficult. the instructions were no help. I worked with it a bit and got it going. bluetooth pairing was the most simple - works flawlessly! however, it seems the unit I received (sold as used) - had channel A and F blown. I used a known-good test speaker from another system I have. Even after tweaking the treble and bass, the sound was still VERY flat. The power was there, but clipping was evident and obnoxious! even after dialing it down a bit and turning it up on bluetooth, I got better sound out of a lower powered amp! I eventually hooked it up where it would go and powered up the outdoor Q65 HTD speakers for my back yard. The bass hit, but again, the sound was very flat and tin-can-like, nevermind the blown channels (I needed all 6 for my pool room and outdoors). I think I had it powered up around 30 minutes - rolled thru a variety of music.. glass animals, classical, doors, floyd, various EDM and Rock.. totally not impressed! again, the power was totally there, but it was very distorted at higher volumes where the power was needed! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Waste of time and energy. Other reviews are proper when suggesting other units.. will never entertain pyle again.

No help from pyle warranty department
I ordered one in 1-2023, and it had an issue and Amazon keep its part up and sent me another one and 4 or 5 months later the amplifier stop working but all lights were on. So I contacted the warranty for pyle and I completely got the run around, send us your proof of purchase and when I sent what I found they kept goin back and fourth with me saying I sent the wrong thing and I couldn't find the information so after a few exchanges I decided to eat the money and just go with another brand all though my lady loves the unit or loved it but now I've decided to not buy pyle anymore

Good - for the price.
Just got it today. Let me be clear, for the price point, it is a great bargain, test of time notwithstanding. Having said that, let me mention a couple of features that I thought would be included that weren't. - The remote control *only* controls the AUX/BLUE input portion, not the entire device. For example, it can't be used to control the volume of the various 6 channels if one is listening to the CD or DVD inputs on the rear. This is why I rated the remote as 1 star. It is useless to me as I have 3 pairs of speaker zones set up depending on which video output I send out from my home theater PC. -The sub out works well for me when using the CD or DVD input on rear, but be advised, bluetoothed device for some reason doesn't employ the sub woofer output. I had to manually use the bass knob, which only increased the bass on the speakers themselves, not the sub woofer. I have not tested the microphone inputs as I have no desire to use them. I did purchase this for the different speaker zones, the minimum output on each channel (which I believe is 100w), and the price of around 100 dollars. For these reasons, I give it high marks/5 stars. I did feel that I was mislead about the capabilities of the remote control. "Receiver/amplifier with remote"- Wouldn't you think that it could use it to control the volume? Oh well. I'll keep it and see if I can somehow use my smart remote to control the volume somehow without leaving my chair or bed. Bottom line, minus 2 stars for not making this clear to consumers.

An excellent product at a great price!
We've purchased several of these now and use them for running a PA system, music for our lobby with ceiling mounted speakers, in our largest conference room where wiring from the front of the room to the back just wasn't possible so in combination with a FM transmitter at the front, can run the sound system through this and has two MIC pick ups so we can just turn on the wireless MIC at any time and plays over any sound already playing which is ideal for presentations. The remote really doesn't have much for functionality, for our setups we don't need it as we have them in a "set it and forget it" kind of configuration. You can't adjust volume with the remote, which would be very difficult due to the amount of level controls it has, for me this wasn't needed, so if you're looking for that, pick something else. Otherwise, this is a great unit!
