Once a suitable location has been identified, mark the position of the three fixing points using the footplate of the product as a guide. Create three holes in accordance to the specification provided by the through bolt manufacturer. Clean all three holes by brushing, blowing or vacuuming to remove all dust and debris. Insert the "through bolts' through the footplate and into the drilled holes Tighten each through bolt in accordance to through bolt manufacturers instructions. WARNING: It is recommended for this product to be bolted into a flush concrete surface. this post will not be effective if installed on loose unstable ground or block paving. This post should be located so it folds away from the vehicle being protected.
