The evolution continues! The third offering in the Operator line of grips that we here at VZ started back 12 years ago. The Operator line is not only the best selling textured grip, but the most copied. Form follows function and beauty. With our new stippled texture offering it only made sense to wring out as much function by pairing it with the slants of the Operator series. Combining the two textures just like its predecessors in the series, it becomes a much more functional grip in the sense of allowing it to be used in more applications. From the concealed carry firearm to the tactical and tournament shooter it exceeds in all applications. Not least to mention its beauty that compliments any firearm.

A Very Aggressive Grip
As a new 1911 owner, decided new grips were in order to make it more my own on my S&W E series, 5". The blue really make the stainless stand out. Fit is perfect, and no issues swapping out from the stock rosewood.However, read the info carefully. These are listed as an "aggressive" grip. The leading edge of the grips have tiny pinpoint "protrusions" that are actually quite painful, unless you have hands of leather, or are wearing gloves. Had I fired off about 100 rounds, there is no doubt my hand would pay a severe price. But I like the coloring and the style otherwise. There is a simple solution. Get one of those "sanding sticks", you know, the ones your wife or GF use on their nails, and give that leading edge a few strokes to dull the needle points off. You can't tell it's been done, and your hand will appreciate it, and you'll still have an aggressive grip. Problem solved.

Great grips for gloves
Great looking grips outstanding fitWould be five stars my only complaint is the extreme sharp textures on the front half of the grip. Great for a gloved hand but pretty extreme for bare skin. My hands are pretty tough just something to keep in mind when ordering.

Great texture
These grips rock! Fast shipping UPS not usps. Texture is perfect, I'm a man with rough tough man hands so it doesn't bother me! Went with the hyena brown, no complaints.

A little sharp.
The grips are a little sharp on the surface towards the front. I smoothed the sharp spots with a small file. Now they are much more comfortable, and still have excellent grip.

Not for the tender handed
The only grips I will run on my Colt Delta full rail 10mm, I had VZ customize these grips at the factory with the Delta emblem, definitely not for the tender handed
