These. Are. Great! We bought a sectional a few years ago, and it didn't have built-in cleats. It was one of those where you pick what parts you want at the store and kind of build your own couch. For 3 years, part of our daily routine was adjusting the parts so they were tight to each other. Then I bought these.Installation was a breeze. I made a cardboard template to align with the front and back corners of the couch and installed 2 on each piece. No problems with fit or alignment. I started by drilling pilot holes, but he fabric and a thin layer of stuffing made that a pain, so I switched to just driving the screws. Curiously, I didn't have any of the snapping screw problems mentioned in so many reviews, so maybe they changed to a better screw? I would still plan on drilling a pilot hole just in case, but I thought it was worth mentioning.An added benefit is that with each piece secured to the other, there is now lateral pressure on the cushions so they have stayed put much better. When the couch was free floating, they would tend to creep out toward the front from all the sitting/standing.I would definitely but these again. 10/10

If your couch is sliding all over the place causing gaps, use these connectors to have them set. They won't budget. Not even if the kids are jumping on the couch!

I purchased this Sectional Connectors Metal Clips for my couch and installed them successfully. I have seen other customers commented about the screws breaking. Thank you for taking the time to post that information. To make sure my screws didn't break, I drilled pilot holes first before screwing in the screws and made sure I didn't over tighten them.

Under my expectations

I have a couch that kept separating because it is modular, but I really needed something to lock it in that is semi permanent so if I choose to move it I can but it can stay stationary when needed. This product was perfect for that use and the material seems very high in quality.
