I bought this umbrella primarily for blocking sun, but it tuned out it rained during my first use, not heavy thunderstorm, just medium rain, to my disappointment it leaked water from the center cover down to ribs quite severely and within 15 minutes it was wet everywhere underneath the umbrella. The fabric felt strong and thick enough so it should be design or even quality issue. I think after the rain(well as I write, it is still raining), I will look into the detail to see if the issue can be fixed. As it stands, it is not entirely satisfactory. I have more confidence that it will perform better under the sun though.

We bought this umbrella about 2 months ago only used it a handful of times when the string broke from inside. Now the umbrella won't stay open - the crank is useless. For the price, I definitely expected it to last longer. On our purchase, we bough two so they would match, the other is doing fine. Greatly disappointed though.

I bought 4 for our pool. One had a canopy too small for the frame, so you can't fully open the umbrella. A second one after only two weeks of use is completely broken. The hinge broke and now it only flops forward or back. It no longer just stays straight up. Total waste of money because Amazon requires product to be returned in order to get a refund so I am not sure it is worth it to pay for shipping.

I go through a lot of table umbrellas. They only need to be left up once in a wind and they blow over and snap some ribs. Happens every summer. This one's ribs are heavier-duty than many at this price point, so I'm hoping for a few years out of it.. One note: I ordered Navy. It is dark to the point of appearing black, so don't pick that shade unless black works as well as dark blue does for you.

Had closed for week then open and faded in spots that was open to sun. Terrible

Only had for one summer - but the color faded already -Not sure if that's due to the fact that its Navy - but was hoping it would have held up for at least a couple of summer uses....

Hubs hung solar light around inside edge and down the pole. Looks fantastic at night! On its own, a great umbrella, good value.

Its nice but keeps falling over with the slightest wind gust..dissapointed..we use it on our balcony porch
