My Face Book (Tagalog/English)

Cute and simple book. BUT how can you get the translation of awake and sleepy wrong? INAANTOK IS SLEEPY AND GISING IS AWAKE. Return!

Our 18 month old has loved this book since she was a baby, it's simple and you can read the french and english. Now we try to encourage her to make the facial expressions she sees so it's something you can have as a developmental tool as your baby grows!

Let me start out by saying our family is a mixed one and we thrive on diversity. With that said, the only single picture of a Caucasian child is that of a child with Down syndrome. I would be fine with this if it wasn’t the only photo of a Caucasian child. We have other books that show much better diversity, still with different backgrounds and also Down syndrome as a I believe it’s important to show your children all types of diversity. However it’s the ONLY Caucasian child in the entire book. If the tables were turned, there would be an uproar.

Didn’t like the way words were translated. There was a typo on the back. Some pages have adjectives and others verbs, it was inconsistent and not helpful as a bilingual book.

My infant daughter is half Navajo, so this is a good book for her to read in Navajo with her dad, and then in English with me. Reading of any kind is perfect for bonding with baby as well as introducing her to the native language of the area.

My son loves this book! Although there was an incorrect translation, the company sent me a corrected book! It is a very good book despite the one mistake.

My daughter loves this book so much, she spends lots of time flipping through each page and looking at each face. I greatly appreciate the diversity throughout the book! Buy this for every kid in your life!!

This is an adorable book. I’m teaching my grandson French & this book allows my daughter-in-law to understand what I am reading. Wonderful illustrations!

I got this book for my Grand Daughter but on the awake and sleepy pictures the text had been muddled up. Very disappointing.

This is one of my grandson's favourite books, we read it every time I babysit him (and multiple times at that!). He loves to look at the faces and is enthralled when I imitate the crying and then the sleepy baby. He was only 8 months old when I bought it.

I thought this was going to be a book about the parts of a person's face but it's not - it's about facial expressions - i.e. happy, worried, etc... Not what I was looking for so was disappointed when I got it.

really like this book. bought it for both a toddler and an infant as each age could benefit.
