Great boonie..fits well

I like the larger loops. Color is good, big brim well made. Size is true I ordered 7 3/4. It's a little big. Wish they had 7 5/8

Great quality. I ordered my normal hat size and it fits just right. Light weight, good for PT in the sun. Wide enough brim to offer good protection for face and ears.

Bonnie arrived on time in a soft pack. Camo pattern is very close to OCP tropical, but don’t think it is exact. Material feels softer than my other boonies, but it’s not drippy and can still hold its shape. Don’t know how it will be after several washes. At least okay for now. My primary complaint is that the attachment loop is sow lopsided, with it placed high at the front and low at the back. Don’t know if it’s done intentionally, but none of my other Bonnie’s are like that. Looks a bit weird on close inspection, but doesn’t affect the hat’s functions. One other minor thing is that the vent holes are done in brass. I would prefer to have it done in black. Overall, it’s good enough, but expect better at this price.

I bought two of the icp scorpion boonies one for my son and the other for myself. We both love them. They are extremely comfortable, durable and functional. Friendly advice though if you drop this hat pick it up right away. If you walk away from it and go back there is a good chance that you won't find it. The camouflage is extremely good and versatile. It doesn't say that it is mulicam, but it is.

The hat is really good quality in my opinion. It fits perfect. My only complaint is that I did order the 100% cotton version, but I received the 65/35 polyester cotton blend. Not a deal breaker for me, and nothing to do with the quality of the hat itself, Tru-Spec makes a great boonie hat. I would purchase from a different seller besides Surplus World next time.

The TRU-SPEC Boonie Hat was purchased during April of 2022 for the price of $15.95. It is not currently available in the Coyote color, size 7.5 (November 26, 2024).Although i like this hat so very much, because of its color and construction, I can't give it 5 stars because it's made of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Unfortunately, there is a significant difference.I have 4 other Boonie Hats made by PROPPER. One each in Khaki, Blue, Black, and Olive. However, these hats are made of 100% cotton. None of these hats have any staining resulting from perspiration whatsoever. The TRU-SPEC Boonie Hat is substantially stained from perspiration. In addition, the 100% hats are noticeably cooler to wear during days upon which the temperature is noticeably warmer.Although I would probably purchase this hat again, I would seek not to make a purchase of a polyester blend if avoidable.
