This is a beautiful production. The music by the great jazz pianist ViJay Iyer is very good and appropriate to the visual material. The interview with the composer and director are quite helpful, particularly in relating the project to a homage to Stravinsky's Rite of Spring. The only caveat is that it's rather pricey for the less than one hour playing time.

Mesmerizing visually and musically. This is a film to be seen and heard repeatedly to unpack the images and attend to the brilliance of the music.

It is a film documentary about devotion for the goddess Raha in India., directed by Prashant Bahargava. Colorful and beauty ,but for me the more import thing is the beautiful music of Vijay Iyer and the International Contemporary Ensemble. Is also an homenage to Igor Stravisky and Nijinsky's "Le scare du Piemtemps" . He used the same twelve episode to conduct us for diferents stages. The film include the performance of Nawazuddin Siddqui and Beatrice Ordeix. There is also a documentary was directed by Ross Karre and produced by ECM. Is really incredible, a beautiful experience of sound and colorPS. You can buy in DVD or in Blue Ray version. Total time 53:34

Vijay Iyer ha puesto musica en honor a Stravinsky y en especial a La Consagración de la Primavera . Es extraordinaria, la perfecta conjunción entre la musica tradicional indu y la contemporánea. Una explosion de luz,color, y sonidos. Una obra maestra del S.XXI. El film esta dirigido por Prashant Bhargava y recoge a la perfección las ceremonias en honor a la diosa Radha en la India.
