Great lift with easy assembly
I am using this lift to upright overturned tombstones. Works perfectly. Was easily assembled although i did manage to get two of the wheels installed incorrectly. I did not notice that the two front wheels are ever so slightly larger than the bases 4 wheels. A quick call to the seller got me back on track and the issued resolved by switching one wheel. Well built and easy to transport with the foldup legs. Highly recommended.

Works great!
It did the job well for our engine swap instructions were a bit unclear at first but we managed to put it together fine.

Well made. Works well. However, between photo/instructions/parts nothing matched.
Very well made, especially for the money. The design, construction, and quality of hardware used makes me feel confident when lifting heavy loads. The packaging is a little lightweight considering the current performance of package delivery services. Mine arrived with tears in the side big enough so I pulled parts out of it before opening it up. The bag that contained hardware had a small tear in it, and it took a while to find the missing parts in the box, some had managed to hide under box flaps. The instructions were very minimal. Comparing: 1) The photo, 2) the parts table and 3) the actual parts, none of the 3 matched each other. And there was one table with half the parts, but no table for the others.Having said that, using the photo I was able to assemble it with very little trouble. I just made adjustments for it including 2 screws and 2 pins instead of the 4 pins shown in the photo. I had to undo 2 castors when I realized that there were socket head screws for some and hex head fro the others. There were no instructions to say that.If they would update the instructions, and include tables for ALL parts, not just half of them, and have maybe 204 pages of step-by-step instructions, I would give it 5 stars.I contacted the seller before I finished figuring it out. They were quick to want to help. I thought there were parts missing. I figured there were pages missing from the instructions (with the hole, and the instructions badly torn), but they sent me a pdf and that is all there was. I finally started putting it together and realized that it was really just that what little instructions were there were outdated. And later, I found the last missing nut under a flap in the box while I was breaking it down to recycle. So, in the end, nothing was missing.Even with all my complaints, I give it 4 stars because, if I were to need to buy another one, I would buy the same one. I'd rather have a well built piece of equipment than good instructions. And the seller has a great attitude.

WHAT A SHAME
I had high hopes for this product. It was not the cheapest engine crane for sale. It came via FedEx and was laying in my driveway. The box was torn, smashed, and hanging open. Bolts and nuts were scattered about outside the box and in the driveway. The styrofoam packing was obliterated. It was broken and had no function whatsoever. I waited 2 days to assemble the crane. The hardware was cheap and the threads on the bolts easily stripped out. The directions are terrible. Just follow the picture. The paint was scratched on every piece of steel due to the rough handling and broken box and packaging. The wheels are poorly made. The ball bearings do not allow the wheel to rotate freely. Because I was missing hardware, I had to buy nuts and bolts to finish the assembly. The 8 ton ram did operate well, so I wasn't completely disappointed. All in all, this purchase was a bust. Amazon should not allow this vendor to sell anything on their site. They have been totally silent. No reply to my complaint. The package was so heavy, it should have been delivered by 2 people with a dolly, and handled with care.

I'm a very happy customer
It arrived and put together easy and it's perfect I'm so glad I bought it. It's missing the black handle that goes to the operating handle but other then that it's well worth the money and very well made.

Some problems but finally worked OK
I liked that it worked to remove my engine. I did not like that the holes were not correctly drilled and I had to modify it to work properly. I like that it is compact and foldable. Construction quality was very crude but it did the job

Instructions? We don't need no stinking instructions....
You get what you pay for. The lift is sufficient for small jobs. The instructions for assembly are total junk. You would think putting this together would be cut and dry. It is, after disassembling it three times to switch things around. Make sure you have the right wheels (there are two different sizes) in the right place, with the right bolts (hex heads and crosstip heads) in the right place, or your holes won't line up.

Great buy
Details are correct. We are an automotive shop and use this all the time for engine swaps and pulls.
