Bought this drone a week ago. Pressed the return home feature never returned home and to make matters worse the controller wouldn’t operate manually. £179 and only last a week. Amazon refuse to refund me or replace it and the seller Doesn’t reply to messages. Will have to now ring trading standards as the drone was not fit for purpose.Update August 6th.Amazon Agreed in the end there was a problem with the drone and refunded me ( well done Amazon ) The seller still hasn’t contacted me ...!!! So beware if you have problems....there is no phone number to call the seller on.....you can only message them on Facebook and then they don’t reply.Footnote::::: The camera is very shaky and video quality is poor. Paid a bit more for a Hudsan Zino...it has a 4K gimbal camera and video is smooth and the quality is awesome....plus support is quick.

Bought this with having no experience, it looked complicated to set up but was really easy. Flys great does exactly what it should. The camera is good quality and I have had great results with videos and still shots. This drone holds altitude and actually returns home using gps to same site it takes off from. Really good drone

I got the set with 3 batteries.It's a great drone to practice with as it comes with all the modes you would want with a gps drone.The camera isnt on a gimble so dont expect perfectly steady images but the camera quality is good for the price and it's nice and easy to use.Do make sure there is very little wind though as it's very light and will get moved about alot as the wind blows! Overall I think it's a good little drone and I'm learning alot with it, it is how ever making me want to step it up to something more professional as it's good fun!

I've been toying with the idea of buying a drone for some time and eventually took the plunge. I'd originally ordered a different one from an overseas supplier, but having paid for it received an email to say that they were unable to ship it due to the current Covid-19 crisis. After doing some more research and watching various video reviews on YouTube, I settled for a JJRC X5 Epik, decided to get one from the UK and ordered from Amazon. It arrived on the promised date and I was keen to inspect what I'd spent my cash on. With batteries charged, I ventured round to my local park, having taken the on-line course and achieved the necessary qualification and nervously started my first flight. I shouldn't have worried, flying it is relatively simple and as long as you take your time and don't panic, you shouldn't either. The supplied instructions are comprehensive and together with the information gained from YouTube, my first flight went without a hitch. Several flights later my confidence is growing, although becoming proficient will take some time, but I am happy with my purchase. Video and photo quality isn't brilliant, the main drawback being the lack of a gimbal mounted camera, but it's okay for the money. Whilst I may hanker for something better long term, this will provide me with something to use, gain experience and it won't break the bank should I crash it.

An excellent drone and one for any beginner .Great build quality and functionality and very easy to fly even for a complete novice like me.The 2k Camera is very good apart from being a little fish eyed and the "5g" connectivity to your phone, is ok but go just a little too far or go behind an obstacle and you lose view , (screen Freezes).The batteries last 10 to 12 minutes before the hand set starts to beep at you about battery level but don't worry as it will fly right back to where it took off to start with.On that note, remember to go back to the start point before hitting `RETURN HOME` or `BATTERY LOW` , or you will lose it?The follow me and circle me function is fun and the way point planner is fun too.The batteries take what seems like forever to charge and it would have been nice to have a twin charge port to help speed things up a little.I have ordered two extra batteries and a twin charger as 20-25 just isn't long enough to enjoy this excellent drone, especially on a lovely calm day.All in all, a great bit of tech.

I wanted to take an aerial photo of our house and this drone did that well. Just worth noting, unless I missed it, the instructions dint tell you that the drone cant take larger SD Cards. I think the max is 64GB, i bought the 128GB bundled by Amazon, but this doesn't work, the images save to the card, even though they say they do. So I just bought a 32GB and this worked fine.But all in a great drone and loads of tech for the money.

Pleased with overall design, particularly love the replacebable battery and the fact when ya get nervous and don’t know what to do there is a self landing button which lands the drone very smoothly if not too smoothly!

I can only presume the drone i got was defective as the camera was very choppy and poor quality. I would say 240p @ 15 frames per second. The return home feature didn't return home and it was a nightmare to control compared to other drone I've used even in flat calm conditions. Applied for a return and so far it seems to have gone through.
