A few things that I really appreciated about this Laphet So...1) Its unusual thing that most people aren't familiar with, so makes for a really cool cocktail party conversation2) I just love tea in all forms, but this is the first time I've ever heard of edible tea leaves3) I wouldn't be surprised if this becomes a foodie trend, esp since Burma/Myanmar is opening up and more people are becoming interested in the country4) Its just really tasty. So far I've added it to eggs in the morning (caffeine and nice flavor), on crackers with goat cheese, in some asian stir frys, lots of different things like that. Its an easy way to give a dish a boost and add an interesting flavor to the meal.

My jar arrived opened slightly, so some olive oil had leaked out, leaving the leaves a little dry. After I rehydrated with some oil, it perked up nicely. The taste was good, but a little more bitter than what I’d had at restaurants.

This stuff is like crack. I add it to everything - omelettes, steak, burgers, salad, ice cream sundaes. Heck, sometimes I like to cover my girlfriend's body in it and eat if off of her. Yes, I know, TMI, but don't let that detract from the fact that this is an amazing product and you should really try it. Considering that tea has been a major staple of Asian and European diet since the 1600s, it's hard to believe that people didn't think of eating it earlier. Try it! You will not be disappointed.

I’d have to agree with few of the other reviews. I’ve had tea leaves before and have liked it very much, however, this product tastes extremely bitter. It also has a strong jasmine tea taste to it. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Product arrived mummified in bubble wrap, but leaking and full of brown juice inside of that.I think this must be an issue with the way the jar is sealed. The glass wasn't broken, but the insides had still gotten outside of the jar, and were only being kept from leaking into the rest of the package by the bubble wrap.Maybe buyer beware with this one. It's a bit pricey if it's going to show up unsafe to eat.

What do you expect, ordered fermented green tea leaves to make Burmese Tea Leaf Salad and expect them to be sweet like donuts!!!? Of course not, this quality product with a bit bitter taste is the best one I have ordered from Amazon, all ingredients are very healthy and clean, I definitely will buy it again, and I know it won’t take me too long to order another jar. I made this delicious Burmese tea leave salad as soon as I got the notification of the product been delivered, it’s so amazingly tasty! 😋😋😋

This hardly tasted like authentic lahpet. Every bite was like a mouthful of strong jasmine tea. Not my cup o...you get the idea.
