Creative Co-OpSquare Wood Napkin Holder with Metal Bar

I had been looking for a napkin holder to go with our table. This holder fits the bill perfectly. It’s well constructed and aesthetically pleasing. The holding rod is made of lightweight hollow metal as seen on the photo with the magnet I used to ascertain that it was metal and not plastic. The fact that the rod is light weight is an added benefit as it won’t damage the table surface if dropped. I gave it five stars except for craftsmanship where I rated it a four. The reason being is that the holder did not have pads on the bottom to protect the table’s surface. I added felt pads to the bottom of the holder, as seen on the photo, to remedy this oversight. I would suggest to the manufacturer to include felt pads in the future.Overall I’m very pleased with the item.

This is exactly what I wanted. I wasn’t sure it was worth the price but I don’t regret it at all. It’s beautiful and sturdy. The rod adds aesthetic and holds the napkins in place to prevent grabbing multiple at a time. I’m a fan of horizontal rather than vertical napkin holders. Especially with kids around. They seem to stay more organized and hold more. Love it.

This thing is indeed made from real wood and the corner brackets and rod that holds down the napkins are all metal. When it arrived, it was kind of filthy so I had to scrub the whole thing with Murphy's Oil Soap. After I finished cleaning it, it looks fine. It has little rubber feet so it won't scratch your table and the metal pole is heavy enough to do the job of holding down the napkins.I wouldn't rate it as an outstanding, quality product, there are some scratches on the wood on the base where nobody would see them once the napkins are in place and the finish isn't exactly perfect. But it gets buy just fine for what it is - a basic, wooden napkin holder. If I had spent $50 on it, I would be a bit disappointed, but for what it cost, it is just fine. I am not sure about how "rustic" it is - it would go fine in a rustic cabin, but just as easily in any mainstream decor. It is a plain, simple wooden napkin holder. It does take up a fair bit of space because the napkins lay flat instead of sticking straight up. I wouldn't want it on a really small table. But outside of that it would be hard to imagine any place where something made out of wood would look ok but this would look bad.

As one reviewer noted, there must have been an order not at all like others. Here's what I got: Wood napkin holder, stained to medium-dark wood tone, with metal brackets on corners and a hollow metal, welded steel "holder." I know it is steel because a magnet stickes to it, and it has the metal "ting" when tapped. I cannot explain the reviewer who claimed it is plastic. Reviews: Wife said, "I love it" (ie: 5). "I also ranked it as 4 to 5. While the holder bar might not be solid metal, it is still substantial and, for those wishing even more heft, could easily be filled with something to make it heavier. For the price I am quite pleased. Nice flavor of the old west for a country-western style napkin holder for our Southwestern home.

This is exactly what it says it is. It works perfectly. We have it outside for parties all the time keep the napkins from blowing away. I host a lot of events, large events in my country home. Many people ask me where I had bought this, and everyone loves it. It’s exactly what you say, no it’s not absolute perfect craftsmanship, that’s not what I’m looking for, I love the fact that it has some rustic (aka imperfect) touches to it. One of my all-time favorite purchases !

The media could not be loaded. Item is very poorly made. It's warped and does not sit flat on table. I put foam pads on bottom so it won't scratch table and I had to put 3 on one corner where others had only had 1 to make it level. The wood on inside is chipped and pealing to its painted cheap wood. I thought rod was going to be heavy metal but it's just thin and poorly put togetheras well. Not worth the money I paid.

After buying 3 rustic napkin holders I finally found the right one. Yes the one with deer antlers was cute but fake looking not to mention aggravating to use. One had two deer facing opposite directions, close but too big. This box is perfect size and has a bar in center to hold napkins down for ease of removing one at a time. Love this rustic box that looks nice as well. Great buy for me!
