Delightful bedtime story

This is perfect for our ocean theme at school. It counts backward and forward as fish leave and return. Great for 2-3 year olds. Pictures are bright and story offers great conversations.

I purchased a pile oc Audrey Wood books for my 2.5 yr-old granddaughter. We read it over, and over, and over… The words are simple and the illustrations (by her son) are bright and interesting.

Yet another great Audrey Wood book!!

I think this book is pretty weird, especially the last few pages and the page where a fish is snacking on potato chips. But my 20-month old son has been obsessed with it ever since we checked it out of the library 6 weeks ago. So here I am buying it, since I've run out of renewals at the library! My son has really enjoyed counting the fish and pointing out their colors (neither of which he can do well yet, but I suppose this book is helping him learn). I'm learning to accept that my taste in books may not always match my kid's!

My toddlers love to count along with the story. It’s a gun read and great for bedtime.

This is a sweet little book that reinforces counting and numbers. Cute story and lovely artwork. Purchased for a four year birthday.
