Pocket Monsters Special Vol.1 (Manga)

Brand new! Excellent quality. I read this as a kid in English and wanted something to practice reading Japanese better. Great stuff.

I was not sure if it was true that I could still purchase a brand new sealed version of this book, since it's out of print and first came out in 1997. I'm so happy to say that the item came in perfect condition and is 100% authentic!

After going to Japan last year I tried to get some of the Pokemon manga at some Bookoff stores and I could not find the 1st volume. I ended up ordering it and it came in fantastic condition.

Manga was in good condition, no damages. Wanted a japan manga and thought to start here. So far no misprints or errors. It was a bit odd that this has a outside slip cover like you find on hardcovers.

I got this for my nephew who loves Pokémon and Japanese. I was expecting more of a flimsy comic book, but this was more of a thicker book. He loved it!

Numerous countries worldwide have experienced the phenomenon. A younger American audience remains the target of the popular franchise.Japanese culture embraces video games on a broader level then their American counterparts. The Pocket Monsters Special Vol.1 [Manga] possesses a darker theme and more action. The blend of traditional Pokemon elements and their japanese counterparts are fluid. After reading this book I understand the broad appeal of Pocket Monsters.

まだ半分も読めてないのですが、懐かしくて草97年の時にアニメ放送のポケモンを見ているかの様な感じがしましたイワークを、ピカチュウのでんげきで倒すシーンたまらなかったです

Ich habe dieses Comic für meine Stieftochter (11) bestellt, weil sie ein totaler Pokemon-Fan ist. Das Problem ist nur, dass es nicht auf englisch, sondern auf japanisch geliefert wurde, obwohl die Sprache "englisch" angegeben war. Naja, nun musste ich meiner Stieftochter noch einen Sprachkurs für japanisch kaufen. Aber ihr gefällt das Comic gut, auch wenn sie (noch) nichts davon lesen kann.
